What do you do when you are over 50% lose on your trades?

If you notice in all these coins I am in HUGE lose. I am holding this of course. Coz I would never sell my coins in lose. I did in past but learnt my lessons.

How do you handle when you are in my situation.

I try to be patient and not nervous I'm in no hurry, so I can sit in the coin as long as you like. This is my medium-term strategy. In addition I am involved in a bounty and ICO.

It's a hard thing to do especially if you've invested all your fiat.
Maybe just set your sell orders at a higher price and wait.
It helps not to check them too often.

don't rush you take a decision, if the price is still down 50% from the beginning you buy, maybe now you must hold it for the time being. because it is at the beginning of the year often a decline in prices.

I don't care it's lose over 50% or 70% on my trades , remember don't panic to sell all your tokens when market crash, you don't lose anything if you holding and don't sold it , just wait for market price recover, remember crypto market not like other investment, it's a high risk investment, high profit or high lose

Some people are being impatient & emotional when doing trading thats a reason of losing there capital, if you see you are losing a 50% on your trade dont sell them in that case this is the best time to buy more token and hold it until you reach your price goal.

Right now, if i figure out that project is complete joke/scam, i will just sell instantly instead of holding.
If project is real good but just under value, i will hold until weak hand dump

i cut a lose a lot in past time, but now meh. Just hold it and pretend it never exist maybe the coin will increas it value along the time or maybe it just dissapear. Who know though.

I'm also at about a 50% loss so far.I got into this during a high back in January.So now I'm just waiting it out and adding more coins when I can. I bought a lot of Alt coins so I could get more for my money hoping maybe a few years down the road I may turn a nice profit.

Realle I is in the same situation. Unfortunately I did not wait for the final price of BTC. The best way now is to hold your position. May be Perhaps it's worth switching to mining instead of trading.

A good investor always keep in mind 50% loss & 50% profit.Before investing you should also know deep knowhow of these coins,is there any strong project is going in favor of these coins,is there any market scope you are going to invest in,developer are good enough experienced,i think after considering these findings i would hold my investment and will wait for pump up time,definitely i will get return because these coins are going under dip period.On other hand if fail project/scam is going on behind these coins,with no proper marketing strategies,no proper scope,inexperience developer then in this case these coins will continue to fall in price,because their back is not strong enough,so i should  sell these coins to avoid further loss.Many people are advising you to hold but i disagree with these guys,because a weak base product can not produce desired results.You already have lost 50% of your investment in some non prominent coins,so its advisable to sell your investment and reinvest in ETH,ALT,ADA,XRP.

You are right about the fact that you need to thoroughly study the project before investing. If the project is weak and does not have a future then investing in it does not make sense at all.

My loss was more than that, 70% was my. And what I do? nothing, i keep watching on my portfolio every day. Thanks for the day, because the soaring of crypto's are happening now.

I am always keep the words in my mind " You won't loss anything unless you sell"

Teh problem is not just patient because our patient is not worth if the price will not recover. Thats the problem for me.

if it happens to me maybe I will immediately sell all the coins I have.
I do not want to experience further losses.
but of course you should also consider the price of the coin when you want to sell it...

first i know if you really have the time to research about the coins you are investing in. if its profitable to have investment in it or maybe you just bought it because it is cheap. but what can you do now? rather selling it wait for it to grow more then sell it. rather than having a huge loss because of this, next time invest into something that you sure is good for investment like omg or appcoin, both got future to be higher.

I think you need to stop trading because you have nothing to do with your strategy and you do not have anything to do with Crypto's just use your money in a good way.

Correct the moment to recognize your strategy is wrong is not when you are losing 50% is when you are losing 10% of your capital if that happens then that is the moment to stop and try to think what you are doing and why you have accumulated those losses, losing 50% should be a sign to stop trading immediately and to not start again until you go through the fundamentals once again.
