Today we want to tell you more about the history of our company as a sign of openness and respect for our future investors.

We, the founders of AgroTechFarm, started work in the field of automated cultivation to increase the yield of existing farms as early as in 2013. Back then our technologist Alexey Kovnerchuk patented the first development of a device for hydroponic growing. Our longstanding goal was to goal was to create a fully automated industrial machine for growing plants.

Back in 2014 with the geopolitical event of Crimea, russia was cut off from the world by sanctions. As a retributional step, russia decided to sanction imports, which hit the agricultural sector especially hard.

However, for russian entrepreneurs this opened an opportunity and a door to innovation. Since the supply was quasi decreased overnight, but demand didn’t change, prices for agricultural products started to rise.

We saw the opportunity and started to work on a vertical growing solution to increase the yield of existing farms a

In 2017 we met another company that had a very similar mission as we and we decided to cooperate with them, the name of the company was OOO Agronomov with the brand fibonacci (fibonacci.farm). At the time their product was still not working. We thought that with united forces we might solve this problem. This is why we decided to invest in the Agronomof company because they needed funds for further development in exchange we secured the rights to distribute the machines in eastern Russia as exclusive partner. However, the company did not fulfill its obligations rather the employees were not paid their salaries and our invested money was spent for unknown activities and subsequently the company is in the process of closing.

We sued the company Agronomof because of their activities. There are several lawsuits pending for the company at the moment. The founder Baranov Alexey has Multimillion-dollar debts outstanding and it’s currently not allowed to leave the country, as can be verified through public information. The damage is estimated at 15.000.000 rubles.

Nevertheless, we decided to continue the work on the products of Fibonacci under our own company. Many former employees of Fibonacci joined our team. Since then we have improved the machine and it is now working and we have applied for a new patent.
