Hi All,

I have an issue. The 6000rpm fan is malfunctioning on my Antminer D3. I replaced it with a much better fan with better CFM but with lover rpm speed and and kernel is complaining about the "fan speed too low" and it can't start mining cuz of that. IS there any way to trick or to adjust the threshold for RPM limit or so?

Any help is appreciated....

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I don't know if they added another level of verification, but on my S5, i was able to bypass this by setting fan speed to like 10%, then the low RPM made sense for the miner and it started mining fine. If it doesn't read any RPM that might be a problem.

If you dont have an RPM that the firmware expects, this will happen. With the fan controls being automated, its even harder to cheat the system.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.
