True most of countries are banning bitcoins. Not only countries but some social media like Facebook also involve with it. Facebook just banned all the ads of bitcoins. I think its a bad year for this currency and mostly people will moved to other options. I myself start investing with ETH and sell my all coins. Banned can decrease the demand of bitcoin which can lead it to destruction.

COUNTRIES THAT BANNED BITCOIN Before we start to our topic this I want to tell that some of you might know about this but I just wanna share this to those who are not. Several people believe that bitcoin was a blessing and it was an opportunity for everyone but not everyone shares the sentiment. From central banks and other finance company, Bitcoin's list of detractors runs for a very long time and gone so deep. But most of the government around the world seeks for the regulation of bitcoin. Be due to fear, ignorance and protectionism, governments have a tendency to legislate against perceived threats.Countries such as japan protects its citizens to have free trade of the digital currency. But unfortunately not all countries embracing the change of our technology. In some cases citizens have had their assets seized, accounts got frozen and have been locked up, Government can't stop the blockchain from propagating, but they can stop their people in having access to it. STOP THE BITCOIN!! Like banning drugs, alcohol and other stuffs banning bitcoin sounds nonsensical and unforceable. That's the exact case in five countries: 1. Bangladesh2. Bolivia3. Ecuador4. Kyrgyzstan5. NepalIt was recently reported in https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-illegal-in-nepal-police-arrest-seven-individuals-for-trading-operations/ that there were dozens of bitcoin and crypto enthusiasts get imprison seemingly guilty of little more than operating a small-scale bitcoin exchange. Meanwhile Ecuador has outlawed bitcoin, nit because they opposed this crypto but because they want to regulate and control it and tether it with the Ecuadorian dollar. An Electronic money designed to operate ad support monetary scheme dollarization.Completing the naughty list of countries that have banned bitcoin is Kyrgyzstan, a tiny landlocked state in Central Asia, And Bangladesh banned bitcoin, it was 2014 where Bangladesh bank stated that anyone that will be caught using such online currency could be jailed mostly because it's about "MONEY LAUNDERING".this was already an old news for updated list https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country_or_territoryso what do you think? will your country will ban the use of bitcoin? do you know other countries that ban the bitcoins? Please share it and tell to everyone Well, many countries declares banned bitcoin aside as those mention like Indonesia, South Korea. China partially ban bitcoin meaning they can access few coin exchanger site at a moment to exchange there money for the investors of mining were China has number one contender in bitcoin mining. This recently news that China declares a total banned for all cryptocurrencies to eliminate illegal digital coin. Giving respect to there national currency to increase in economic stability in there country.

Bitcoin is in vain regardless of which country is banned. The Bitcoin network is not a real-name system. How the state knows that people have Bitcoin through effective means is a wrong practice. It seems that everything is useless.

No all countries are for the Bitcoin Idea, with different reasoning, the countries consider Bitcoin a threat to their national economies among other reasons, its not something new that countries are restricting the Bitcoin use, for some reason, there are other countries that legalize it, we as users should focus on those that legalize it

There are so many known country that immediately ban bitcoin before it eats people's interest, but some of them are already getting the rid of it. Here in our country, it is legal yet it looks suspicious because of the evil acts of people or might be just a misunderstanding since digital currencies are a complex one.

The parliamentarians of Ukraine offered their versions of the settlement of the market to the market. Two alternative draft laws have been registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. However, none of them won the position of market participants. The last few months have promised to present their version of the program for legalization of crypto-currency in Ukraine.

Nowadays, there are many countries forbidding bitcoins because they are afraid of illicit money and can not control it. Five countries banned bitcoin like China, Bolivia, Vietnam, Ecuador, India. I personally think bitcoin is very useful for people's lives and is a long-term and stable investment.

The list of detractors of cryptocurrency is very large - from CEOs to representatives of Central banks. Perhaps the greatest irritation is observed among officials and parliamentarians. However, if most States are limited to trying to apply regulatory measures to bitcoin, there are those who go much further and issue laws prohibiting the use of cryptocurrencies. There are also such States where ownership and operations with cryptocurrencies are declared illegal. In particularly serious cases, people's assets are seized, their accounts are frozen and blocked. Governments cannot stop the development of cryptocurrencies, but they can severely stop all attempts to use them.

I would just like to add Macau! Out of all the countries, we would expect Macau to allow cryptocurrencies because of its casinos, but no. Also in India, they're having a hearing regarding the cryptocurrency ban in their country.

Governments are having their own issues. Most of the countries are suffering from illegal trade, terrorism, money laundering etc. Governments also do not want to give up their control over currency
They may not want to give up control over currency, but is banning bitcoin the answer? If people lose faith in a country's currency, they will shift to anything which they believe will not lose value. Most people would shift to gold and it is only a small minority who is savvy enough to buy bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies.

I do not think the reason for prohibiting countries is money laundering or fraud. They are doing this without bitcoin anyway. It's irrational for me to stop bitcoin without being able to stop them.
