Well I'm really some kind of a friend for altcoin offering initial PoW and then start working by PoS and MasterNode rewards. But just looks like this coin is dead somehow or they have serious problems?!

I think I'll drop usage at the moment until there are any news on some more serious work done here.

The whole purpose of this coin is to be green, hence POW was only for 5,000 blocks (IIRC) and has now stopped.

pyramid scheme... be careful

What makes you think it is a pyramid scheme? The whitepaper and community is solid right?

Whitepaper is solid rotfl. and where is the Roadmap where is the address the premine is held in , how are there already 210 mn active .. where is the buysupport on the exchanges.

The Biggest red flag Anonmous devs ..

Just like all the other new masternode coins that roi 1000% + they all get listed on the same crappy exchanges have no buy support no sell offer so you can only buy direct from devs and they all start with coin release then most important exchange listing .. who cares about roadmap innovation of purpose just that fact that its a coin will give it its value .. Right .. i can make my own clone Pos coin in under an hour if i wanted that does Not make it worth anything that takes WORK and that work has NOT been done on any of those +1000% roi coins.

People that are buying into this are getting robbed  and their only hope is to get into the Ponzi first so they can dump on others.

What is the end goal of this Bitcoin Green?
Since you're using the hashtag #savebitcoin, should I assume you see Bitcoin Green (BITG) replacing Bitcoin (BTC) in the near future?

What is the end goal of this Bitcoin Green?
Since you're using the hashtag #savebitcoin, should I assume you see Bitcoin Green (BITG) replacing Bitcoin (BTC) in the near future?

We believe that Bitcoin Green can replace Bitcoin to function as a daily transactional currency and store of value. The public is becoming aware of Bitcoin's massive energy consumption. It takes time to build the network effects of a new decentralized currency, but Bitcoin Green will grow as the mainstream cryptocurrency community becomes more aware of the sustainability issues with Bitcoin. We believe that Bitcoin's true problem lies in the POW algorithm which consumes massive amounts of energy. Furthermore, there are many people who are environmentally conscious and wish mine/use cryptocurrency. Bitcoin Green provides an alternative to wasteful, unsustainable Bitcoin. Bitcoin Green represents a sustainable future for Bitcoin - and could one day become the sustainable standard for the cryptocurrency.

Our goal with Bitcoin Green is to raise awareness about Bitcoin's sustainability issues and offer a simple, scalable solution. The discussion about sustainability in cryptocurrency is just beginning. We are looking to the long-term with the Bitcoin Green project. In the coming weeks, we will be releasing more information about our plans to raise awareness about building sustainability in cryptocurrency in 2017.

It's very strange how the dev is not making any attempt to answer any of the questions here.

This is a new addition to the current masternode ponzi schemes that are growing rapidly. There is nothing new in this project, just using a copy pasta code. All pos coins are green and there are already plenty of good ones. Ethereum itself will go into PoS. Bitcoin is bitcoin, the more energy becomes expensive and inefficient, the more value is added to Bitcoin. That is the whole point of PoW. The early adopters of bitcoinGreen will dump on noobs at any point. Stay thousand miles away from this scam if you dont want to get dumped on. These people are clever, they are even using bitcoin's name to tinker with people's emotion. There is no connection between bitcoin and this project.

It's very strange how the dev is not making any attempt to answer any of the questions here.

We (along with the help of our community) are trying to answer most questions that are not:

1. Outright FUD
2. Easily found on the website or in the whitepaper

If you have any other questions, please come ask in Discord. We are not going to respond to unsubstantiated negative claims about our project by people who know nothing about the BITG community. Please join Discord to learn more about Bitcoin Green and get real-time support for your wallet: https://discord.gg/QaPjqff
