Hi all,

I'm just trying to achieve what can be read everywhere in the www: mining ETH with 30MH/s with this card. I am mining with Linux/Ubuntu/rxOC, tried ohgodatool but it seems I can not move around a BIOS mod.

So right now I am trying but I even fail at the first step, wich is backup the original BIOS. When trying 'atiflash -i' I get 'Adapter not found'. Tried in Ubuntu with atiflash 4.07, also bootable dos stick. I can only find threads where people bricked their cardsa after trying to flash the BIOS but I ain't even tried so that is strange. Someone has an idea?

Follow this guide in windows OS

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954245.0

ensure that the card is detected in your device manager

otherwise it may not get detected in Atiflash

Do you flash cards on Windows or Linux? Make sure you use the latest Atiflash.

ohgoodatool is only for Nvidia cards, not for rx580.

If you want info in a certain card you need to set the index of the card after the -i. You can use -ai to show all the adapters.

atiflash needs root superpowers to find the adapters so the line will be:

sudo atiflash -ai
