Got a mail too. 'USB DONGLES NO BATTERY', 1 piece (but how many are in the box is anyone's guess).

How do you know you're getting 20? (I bought four blades in second batch also)

It's a nice gesture but frankly I don't really want them and I'm being charged £58 import fee just to receive them, so if anyone wants them they can have whatever is in the box for £58. If no takers I'll probably just refuse delivery (sorry friedcat).

The package has 20 in the quantity field. I plan to "strengthen" our local bitcoin community with them, I might keep 10pcs though.

I also received 2 new blades, thanks friedcat.

It's going to be hell of a price war vs bitfury vs kncminer! It all comes down to cost and China is #1...

This week have sold 2 blades @4BTC and 50 USB @0.12BTC to some fellow parisian miners.

So please do not hesitate to lower the price of the 100GH/S set.

It is all about making ASIC affordable, no one cares about ROI, it is like buying a piece of history+having a chance to ROI in euros/dollars.

It all comes down to cost of design chosen; bitfury's one is genius dont you think friedcat? Did you copy?Smiley

I'll understand if you did copy because it was the right thing to do! A backplane design allow for much faster farm deployment.

But what about all those ethernet cables. This is a pain in the ass for sure.

Will friedcat go full bitfury copy by adding USB instead of ethernet+proxy for his gen2 chips?

That would be nice:)

Silently been watching this. Curious what I'll receive for a single 2nd auction blade. I'm guessing 5 of the USB BEs?

First, sorry for the delay of delivery. Our design decision changed a lot during the last few months, resulting a unified new blade design which had also gone into many iterations.

The purchasers will all be fulfilled with new blades. And furthermore it won't be merely upgrades. They are extra.

Do I understand correctly that purchasers of B1-B3 will be given extra unit?
Yes, we get the free USB stick by X-mas.

No, thats just a lie
It's not a lie. It's an expectation.
It looks like I was almost spot on in my predictions... except for dogie, he moved so no x-mas bitcoin-usb-key chain for you this year ... but not to worry, send me your address I will share mine.

That's very kind, but I can still get access to the old address if really required.

You should have a look here if your address has changed:

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

Yes, but it would be great to have a single ethernet address all the blades in the 10-pack...  so maybe a single controller per 10 pack, say a Raspberry Pi ....
