Can you please share some proof of this rumors? I need to see some evidences to believe.
For me there is no chance for allowing ICO in China. But this will make a nuke effect on ethereum.

Why do you think there is no chance?

There will be a huge increase in capitalization if this news turns out to be true, everything will grow like at the beginning of January this year.

it is Chinese we are talking about here, nobody knows what they will do! one day it is good and happy with 2-3 million dollar volume daily and the next they close the exchange just to open it in a month or two and just to close it in 6 months afterwards!

and that is just exchanges and bitcoin and altcoins which have nothing wrong with them. ICOs on the other hand are in a pretty messed up situation. and it is not just Chinese that banned ICOs....

Why do you think there is no chance?
Because the Chinese government has been think this is a kind of pyramid selling, and it may cause some of their current financial system, so I don't believe in the Chinese government will reopen encryption monetary market and the ICO market.

What do you think about news that China may allow ICOs in May 2018?
If this is the case - neo may have a huge bull run.
Neo devcon is coming at the end of Jan and I already expect so many big news (if there is collaboration with Trinity)...
If we add allowing icos in China to scalabilty - I expect possible neo double in price till may.

Sir, the opinion and information you provided about China and ICO might be very correct, however you have not taken time to give us the source of this amazing information. You may do well to provide us where the information is coming from and we would gladly appreciate and make our comments. Thanks.

I agree about NEO. And besides this there will be a good positive background for the growth of the crypto currency May-June rally.

Well, of course NEO will reach a new ATH. Not investing in it though. Look at ICX and the "big" news about main net all over reddit, and the dumping begin instead of the price going up. Who knows?

For the time being these are only rumors. I saw these news at one of youtubers. ANyway somebody already shared this link.

Found interesting recent video of Da Hong Fei. It's really great and worth to look at in full. He also shares some thoughts about regulations (nothing special, but still to undetstand the reason behind bans in China) starting around minute 29 of the video.

Don't think anything. Things can change many times. I know one thing that the Chinese are very smart and they are not going to ban the cryptocurrency.

Why do you think there is no chance?
PBOC will always try to prevent it. PBOC is similar with SEC; They are trying to save their investors from scam ico. And remember if they are having the same opinion regarding ico. They think icos is familiar with the security token and there is no utility usage on it.

That means if the chance of icos to be accepted in the china is really small.

ICOs are allowed only for private accredited investors in China. Public ICOs are banned. I think there is still possibility with opening ICOs in China, but after creating regulations (for example high barriers for entering ICOs in order to save their entire public)

All other countries adopt the laws about ICO in same keys. Russia, Korea, China, who next? All governments want to regulate cash flow. And nothing wrong - cash is blood of system.
But I'd like some laws for ICO. May scammers will be a bit more difficult to fund raise?

Scamers are copying web-sites, send fake e-mails. They become more and more smarter. They don't try to raise money anymore for fake ICOs, cause it's easier to scam new people that entering the market. They started to send fishing web-sites. I think any regulations will prevent from scamers, cause there are always other ways to scam people.

if true this is a very good change, as the value of some coins will go up and the investors will get a profit that doubled from the estimated price. but I am also confused what is the true news that China allows ICO in May ..?
