OK, back to 0.3 then.

Any progress in moving from Beta to Release version? "Bitcoin 1.0" looks good, IMO.

when it isn't beta anymore gavin will no longer be entitled to say "do not invest more in bitcoins than you can afford to lose" Wink

We were so close having Bitcoin 1.3 three years ago… And yet we didn't hit 1.0 yet Smiley.

For me 1.0 is a release when you are certain that the software contains all the functionality that is needed for it to fulfill its goal and lacks any major bugs. At the moment we have 58 open bugs, 7 of which are critical. The GUI also lacks some user-friendly features. I don't think we are very close to 1.0.

Web wallets get hacked all the time. Computer wallets get hacked all the time as well.
Solution? Hybrid P2SH wallets - safer than your online and offline wallets combined. Check it out, store and trade your Bitcoins with ease of mind!
