Do you even whitepaper?  It is all laid out there. It's surprisingly well thought out. I was also skeptical about how practical this project was until I read the paper and started asking a lot of questions. The team already has a solid plan for implementation.

I follow your Twitter because I quite like the idea of this project. It's one of the few projects I see that can actually make a change. This became more apparent when I noticed your post on how guards are stealing money from inmates. Will Cellblocks entirely remove the possibility of that behavior since all transactions are transparent?

Yes because of the blockchain, it removed the need for human interaction.

Right, that makes sense. I like that we are moving toward removing the untrustworthy human element to financial transactions. I know prisoners have done wrong, but that's why they are in prison. They shouldn't have to put up with guards stealing what little money they do have. I really like what Cellblocks stands for.

Approximately how many prisons have shown interest in this project so far?

We have only reached 50 of the 1700 prisons.  out of the 50, 30 have shown interest and 3 state department of corrections have shown interest.  We have already went to one to do a presentation to the state top officials.

An interest of 30/50 prisons is really good so far. Especially with the interest of state departments. Are you working to reach out to the other prisons?

Once the ICO is over, we will make a full presentation packet and do a blast to all 1700+ prisons as well as all state department of corrections we have not reached out to yet.

I hate to see that guards do this to helpless prisoners. I am glad to see they are getting caught and I am ready for a new system like Cellblocks to come in and rid prisons of this horrible behavior.
