How do I get merit and trust?

Now almost all members problems is that they already reach thier complete activity but cannot rank up because thier merit is not enough. Even you posted constructive and high quality post but they dont like to give you merit theres nothing you can do

merits will just come to you as long as you post a good quality post or highly contructive one but also make sure that you dont post in a spam mega threads or on the threads that is easy to answer becauase your post will just end up getting burried without anyone noticing it because of the good number of spammers that will spam that thread. You can check other ideas and strategies on how to gain more merrit on the meta section.

Those people that will recognize your post and find it amazing and helpful on their part can say that you had contributed a quality post on their part. But you're right that even you'll post high quality one it doesn't mean that you'll get merit automatically. Wait for others to recognize it and you'll earn it later on.

Take it as a challenge, I know that you are quite stuck at member rank for few months but don't think that you'll stay there forever. You can do it mate cheer up!

When ever you make a good post and you have make point that help others you will get merit from those people that think you have make a post that have educate and helped them.

With qualities posts you are sure of getting merit and if this has not happen then i believe many have not understood the merit system and how it works.
However many are not using the merit system and we should encourage them to used it. I love this merit system and the way it works and help to keep the forum save.

I have other questions about merit, if I meet the required activity for Hero Member which is 480 activity. Do I need to gain 250 merits by default or I really need to receive it from someone who likes to give me merits by doing quality posts?
What if I do not get any merits until I got 480 activity so this will conclude that I will be stuck in my rank as senior member?

You definitely need another 250 merits to rank up even if you have 1000 activities. I don't know how you are going to make it but it is simple, keep writing quality posts here and some of them will get merited but not all. It's just the same as a whale upvoting your post on steemit.

Because of this issue, newly joined members cannot rank up, join signature campaign and receive the stakes that they deserved according to their true rank. Here is my 3 cents worth, the bitcointalk mods should introduce merit for Members and above as most of the signature campaign is for Jn Member and above while the remaining minority accepts only Member and above.

Merit is a system of promoting or employing a person by giving merit to those who deserves it on the basis of ability, that you might be obtain here in this forum by making a constructive and realistic post that can be helpful to someone. And yes this is very important for everyone here in this forum, specially for those who want to level up their ranks to earn more money, because they can't level up their rank until they reach the required merit for their next rank level.

you can do it with your friends or relatives by asking them to send you the merit you requested. and it will really help you to add the merit you need

Frankly speaking I do not know how to get merit in Bitcointalk. Maybe we can just post and post and post but be sure to post relevant words.
Trust is BIG word. We cannot just get trust by writing, we will show to them in action and in words to gain there trust.

To be upgraded Member Rank , then you should have 60 Activity and 10 Merits

You can get merits through quality posts but not all posts will be merited as per the current situation,because there are only 49 merit sources so it is hard for them to see you quality posts.
So you can collect 10 quality posts of yourself and post it on meta section then they will give merit if it is quality enough.

Trust can be obtained through trading,managing campaign but never ask anyone for trust feedbacks it is against the forum rule.

Will agree with your words since newbie got less attention by the people and even high rank member struggles to earn merits since mostly the one mostly given with that benifits are those people who known on this furom.

Merits has been colored with certain politics that's why people who are unknown struggles to get it.

True, there are lots unmerited members and I think posting in correct boards where many members with merits are is the way, but I am not that kind of person to search trough forum and stalk others for merit so I guess we are in the same shoes, it is just you are member and I am senior member.
Others are sending merits to their alt accounts, I don't think anyone of us will reach higher ranks in next few years

that's the real struggle here, even though you put effort on the quality of your posting people can't notice that because of so much users here and most likely the focus of people here is to just post and simply join bounty campaign, i love the new system but i think they should appoint a lot of trusted users to spread merit across the forums.

Sometimes, I think that this is impossible xD No one gives merit so not to receive neggative crediblity. Did you know that some admins can give you neggative credibility if you give your merit for not worthy post?

True, there are lots unmerited members and I think posting in correct boards where many members with merits are is the way, but I am not that kind of person to search trough forum and stalk others for merit so I guess we are in the same shoes, it is just you are member and I am senior member.

Sad to say ranking up would really be entirely difficult compared into previous years.When merit system was being implemented to this forum all things regarding to leveling do really changed up.Its hard but really entirely possible as long we do our jobs on contributing well into this forum.Merits would really flow into our account without our notice.Talking about trust then do usual stuffs on where trusted members doing into this forum like escrow,smooth dealings and transactions etc.

If you will not make any effort on your post yes its hard to get that. But if you will just make a normal discussion here you can easily have that without even noticing that you already have merit given by other members.

You have to pay for it. Pay with efforts and ideas that can be helpful in this forum. Quality posts etc. But I know for a fact that merit system has already been used for personal gains by some members of this forum. And I know many of us knew.
