I have heard from friends who invested in Bitcoin and read in some blogs that 1 Bitcoin is equivalent to 1 Million in Philippine Peso.  However, considering the inflation rate, as well as the law of supply and demand, does the value of a Bitcoin change? How much is 1 Bitcoin worth?

You can find price conversions on sites like THIS . From there you can find the conversion
you are looking for, and much more information as well. The value changes by the minute. Keep in mind
that it has always done this, and is totally in the nature of Cryptocurrency to do so. Over the last week or so
the price has been averaging right around 11,000usd.

Bitcoin WAS worth 1 million Philippine pesos more than a month ago. It's currently down to $11,773.90(approx ₱590,000). You can check the prices via sites like coinmarketcap[1] or livecoinwatch[2]. Cryptocurrencies are very volatile. Prices are expected to rise and crash a lot; and mostly unexpectedly.

I'm curious. What was the point of this post? BTC prices are readily available. Why ask?

You can always use this website to check the price of the bitcoin " https://coinmarketcap.com/" or just simply search the google by typing "btc to usd". Hope this will help you. Also keep in mind that the price of the btc keep changing every time. So you can't tell any fixed price as it changes over the time.

It's constantly changing, just like other fiat currencies. As https://coinmarketcap.com/ the price is $11743.30 at this very moment. You might see the value differently when you go to that link. Which is more than half a million Philippine peso.

I think you are right. Why ask when "Google" will give you the accurate price?

currently following the drop in  the prices of coins, BTC is worth $11,832.0  at the moment.

An amazingly insightful comment.

Not something google would have told us.

Derchrisus - may I ask you to please post this all over the internet, so that other people can know what a 3 second google-search investigative, analytical approach has brought to light?

You're a fucking genius, and I just cannot fathom why you are not followed more widely.

Here's to the day you hit Legendary!

Power usage is also interesting.

Today for 1 btc must be worth a lot of power used.

At this moment, it's about $11,500. It's changing all the time so you'll have to be consistently checking.

Good luck  Smiley

I usually get the price from coin market cap. Keep in mind prices are different in different exchanges which is why it's possible to make arbitrage trades in this market at the moment. The difficult part is being able to have an account to sell or buy at another exchange with a large price difference.

I use these sites to follow BTC and main altcoins prices and find them very handy:

https://bitcoinwisdom.com
https://cryptowat.ch
https://coinmarketcap.com

If you need to know in some other currency - you can always convert and check the rate at https://currencio.co

The correct answer is that 1 Bitcoin is worth what someone will give you for it.  Wink
