As a result of our community voting by overwhelming majority, SafeCoin will be switching to Equihash 192_7 with the same personalization string ("Safecoin").    Our move to Equihash 192_7 gives us far greater resistance to FPGAs, which allows for a smoother hashrate and more consistent rewards for GPU miners.   At this time, it also resists Nicehash, which is a goal we always strive for.     We will always listen to our community, and this change reflects that philosophy.  We hope Equihash 192_7 serves us well, and you can look at our support, our FAQ, or speak to our team, about ways you can mine Safecoin on it with AMD or NVidia, including 3GB GPUs and up as well as supported pools during the transition.

“Hi there, just a quick update:  Our server migration (while having taken far longer than we would have liked) is nearly complete and has been extremely successful.   We are still running final tests but everything looks good in our newer, more scaleable, capable, and more secure home for SafeTrade.     This migration also means vastly improved uptime going forward, and marks the end of "restarts".  We will be able to enjoy populated charts without interruption going forward as well.      Given the amount of time the migration has taken, we are now waiting for our blockchains to finish syncing in production.

We expect to start going live in approximately 12 hours.”

It is basic issue of Discord platform, and it has not come from the Safecoin team.
Why did you complain about this here?
Discord ask it sometime, not all the time, when new account created with evil IPs only.

I use 50+ discord channels and only the safecoin discord channel requires a mobile phone to sent messages. And no matter what IP is.

Hi there, this was resolved.    Thank you for your patience.   We have had issues with abuse of members in the past.    They volunteer their time and it's just not right.

In other news, SafeTrade has completed its migration, is back up, and is about 90% operational right now.

Order placements, trading, deposits, and withdraws are all functioning normally on most pairs.         

I'd like to thank the community our team, and all our members for their patience and understanding as we strive to improve and deliver more.  This latest update gives us vastly superior stability, scaleability, uptime, security, and flexibility.    It has been in the plans for a while and we hope it serves you well.

It only happens if you created account from evil IPs.
Even that case, you only verify your account via phone number only one time.
I don't join the Discord channel of this one, I don't know but I told you the general phone verification step when create account on Discord through evil IPs.
Something as same as when you created bitcointalk accounts from evil IPs.
