At ran bitcoin, took a shower, came back, and my motherboard starts beeping.  I exit bitcoin and it stops beeping.  I run bitcoin again and the beeping continues!  Weird!!!

Your CPU is overheating. Limit the number of cores BitCoin can use if you have more than one core.

Yeah, it sounds like a heat problem, but without further information about your system and the bitcoin version you are using we can't provide exact advice.

Thx for the advice.  I had to dust out the heat sink and throttle back the number of processors in the options.  The temp is now in check.  Too bad I can't run it at 100% without buying a better cooling system.
