If i'm not mistaken there's no rule/law yet in our country about bitcoin gambling. It is not that widely spread yet so governments aren't making any move about it as of now but two of our local exchange site TOS saying it's likely prohibited. The other one even locking up the account together with their btc once they have found out the btc comes from gambling site.

We have very clear law about gambling here in my county and in our religion, but still people  continue playing gambling, may be the reason is that when people become tired of find jobs or do not have enough money to start a business then they are mostly attracted by gambling which they consider as the easiest way of making money, although it is the easiest and shortest way of making money but i think we cannot ignore the fact that it is also the most risky way of making money.

It's legal one.If the law is not stated anything about this, I am sure it was not a illegal one.Many people attract to gambling due to they will get real money as a winning price. If any gambler had worn atleast 1000$ in a single shot, they will addicted to play gambling at any cost.

To me i don't see this as a source of income if you have no job because where are you going to get the money you want to bet? Through credit? What if you can't pay that debt? It will go stack and stack if you continue to get a credit but continues to play gamble.

It depends where country you live, because some countries banned the use of bitcoin. In some countries they allowed the use of bitcoin but they don't allow gambling.

Well a local exchange site prohibiting gambling funds from goig through doesn't really make it illegal. And if gambling online with regular money is very much allowed in most places, i don't think btc gambling will have a different acceptance. Its basically the same with.

I have made several purchases using my credit cards in the past and did not receive any cease and desist orders from either my bank or my credit card issuer.
So this must of just started within the the past month.
As for as the exchanges go, coinbase has this rule in their terms and services agreement that you are not allowed to send to a gambling website the funds that you have being held on their site for you to use.

Many of players of such sites have complained that they have their accounts frozen and even terminated by this exchange for breaching their TOS agreement with doing just this act of sending from their CB account to a crypto gambling casino site.

It will not be illegal if your country isn't aware of bitcoin gambling or they are simply supporting gambling and bitcoin at the same time. But don't be confident because each country will know about bitcoin and on how it can be used. Most of the countries now are aware of cryptocurrencies and they are all making rules and regulations to it but as long as there's no clear directive about bitcoin gambling, it doesn't mean that its illegal nor legal in your country.

I don’t agree with your statement because I don’t think in this world of technology, there is some country which is unaware of bitcoin gambling. Every country whether it is a Muslim state or non Muslim state, people are well aware of such beneficial things as they really are beneficial but only when we see and focus on their positive side. There are different laws in different countries. You need to check the laws in your country. In my country there is a rule that only those gambling practises are allowed where there is some skill involved. Even then, it is completely banned in some of the states.

There are some country that friendly on bitcoin they embraced of what bitcoin it is and they recognized bitcoin in their country. Those countries who trying to regulate bitcoin the gambling also in that place which is regulated. That does not only depends on the bitcoin alone , there are many countries where any kind of gambling is strictly prohibited. I think OP is concerned about those countries.
There are lots of players, who gamble with bitcoin online from those kind of country. As gambling website does not claim any KYC(I don't find any) and there are too many gambling websites so it is quite hard for government to track also.

You already answered the question yourself, it is not illegal. Though, some countries whom prohibited the activities or use of any cryptocurrency including bitcoin may see it as been illegal. But another good thing is, one can set up a bitcoin casino online or even play online anonymously  because bitcoin usage brings anonymous. It might be difficult for a government of a county to dictate it. Though, there is still a possibility of them finding out.

I agree with you, there will be no problem if we are living in a nation wherein bitcoin is legal. We can do whatever we want with our digital asset because it is ours and there is no point calling it illegal.

It is only based on which country we are from,if your country banned bitcoin usage then using it for gambling will be illegal.Or some countries banned gambling in their countries if you use bitcoin or any other currency then it will be considered as crime.

There are countries who are allowing gamblers to gamble with they preferred currency and if they are through with they can just exchange it with the casino or whomever wants to take it. Just be keen when you are observing rules and regulations in your country so that you can't fall into something and will result that you are violating such laws. It depends where country you live, because some countries banned the use of bitcoin. In some countries they allowed the use of bitcoin but they don't allow gambling.

Bitcoin is not banned but most countries are trying to regulate them to put taxes and make sure they are not using for some illegal activities.

Bitcoin ban is nothing to do with gambling. Online gambling is banned in most of the countries including in my country but still, people play with bitcoins.
