BTH, your bank account can be hacked just as easy, if not easier. Same goes for creditcards online...
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Cryptocurrencies are perfectly safe as long as you keep your own private keys and you keep them safe, which means in cold storage or in some hardware wallet.

Existing issues in exchange provider and wallet application. need technology renewal to secure the system from hackers in order not to be able to do that again.

With hackers everywhere, anything that involves internet and gadget is risky. If we don't know how to keep our accounts safe and our private keys and private, it would really be risky and unsafe for us abd our hodlings. We must always try to avoid suspicious people and we should keep our private keys secured.

Cryptocurrency is safe enough, but human is the weakest part of any security system in the world, so first of all, you need to be very careful about what you are saying and posting wherever it is happening, they can use everything to get your money!

Yep. Heard some news about hacked exchange itself last month and I don't have much knowledge on how the hacks are happening. But, I understand that the wallet we have to be kept safely to avoid these kind of hacks and the private keys should be kept very confidential. After all, if the whole exchange itself is hacked means we cannot do anything.

With technology now is not impossible if crypto will be hacked, hackers will have many ways. Internet security is not entirely secure. Go back to ourselves how to manage it so it will not get hacked.

Since we're dealing hackers over the Internet, we need to limit what we are browsing.sometimes, the more we are curious about things on the Internet, the higher the chance that we can be hacked. so stay out from the websites that are not familiar. don't browse too much. and don't be deceived easily.

What we only need to do is to limit ourselves from browsing websites that are not trusted. stop believing to something they said which is too good to be true. it's better to have a benefit of the doubt in everything you do especially on the Internet. there's no such thing as fast money. make a research, ask someone. do everything you can to validate whether it's legit or not.

Phishing is often the case when you are not careful or have poor knowledge about the internet environment. measures that I find reasonable.:
1. Always install antivirus software
2. Use password management software and always change your password every time you sign up for a new account.
3. Do not use cracking software.
4. restrict others from using your computer.
5. Do not pay with strangers when you do not know them or they have no one to guarantee.
6. Do not provide security keys to anyone.
7. Share your money in many wallet.
8. save important website links.
9. Always read carefully any contents related to your wallet.
10. Hide your email, phone number, date of birth on social networking sites.

There are always going to be hackers and scammers with anything that has to do with money and computers. But as an individuals all you really have to do is practice common sense and take safety precautions. It's simple as that.

The blockchain system is very secure. As long as our computers are free of viruses, the encrypted currency in our wallets will be very safe.

If you have a large amount of encrypted money in your wallet, consider using a cold wallet. Because the larger the amount, the higher the risk.

Most of these criminals targeting huge bitcoin entities that is why most ico coins consider more funds for project security. So knowing that they are still being hacked make us wonder, what are those lapses, leak info where?. Hackers will do anything to penetrate on one's device, not today but on time of us being complacent.
Yes, cold storages are advisable or a simple method of distributing our assets into parts. Especially those with value. It is still better if we are using a separate pc or device for daily personal use, and another one or two for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Still here, always online and watching..

Hackers are and will be. Where the big money is involved and the computer is there and there are people who will be known to them by all means in order to get this money. First of all, we need to start with ourselves. Read a simple guide to safe Internet. And try to stick to it.
Although here in my opinion this team has stolen this money. And if they give money to investors then it's really really hackers))))
That is one among many ways to stay safe. You can also make use of the hardware wallets which keeps you secure from the attack of potential hackers. Besides, Google and Facebook have banned the ads for the same purpose of scams to make the system more secure.

Blockchain technology is one of its kind by which I mean that it being decentralized strengthened the security. One should always keep the passwords secure and should not share them with others. Another way is to refrain from using websites that do not have the “http” in the start.

Crypto currencies were totally safe but their wallets are not, there were lot of wallets available with different levels of security so we need to pick the right for storing wallets. We need to keep our private keys safe not electronically saved. But when we are comparing the fiat money the crypto currencies were ahead but the volatility is biggest disadvantage still.

Cryptocurrency will be safe depending on the market that is holding the coin, if they have a very good security then people will trust the market and everyone will be still placing their coin on a specific exchanger.

Don't put cryptocurrencies on the exchange and put them in your personal wallet!
Wallets are divided into cold wallets and hot wallets, and there are cold wallets for maximum storage security!

Every day technology in the world of computers give rise to new craftsmen, so-called hacker programmers who find vulnerabilities in the code of sites. Before, hackers broke into banks and their security systems. Now they're forcing the exchange of currencies and the withdrawal from there bitcoin and altcoins. Why?  Because bitcoin is an anonymous currency that is not managed by anyone and is fully decentralized. On the one hand it is good, and on the other it is our weakness before hackers. Hackers will not be able to find, after stealing bitcoins from the exchange.
