I believe you, only you can protect your account and there's nothing to do with the crypto currency. Make sure to determine phishing email as well.

Its no longer news that an ICO in Japan has lost over $400 million to hackers. They promised to pay back investors who invested in their ICO. Thsi is a huge loss. After I read that news, I began to wonder. How safe is Bitcoin and Other altcoins? What measures should we take to avoid being hacked ?
In order to avoid being hacked, I suggest that you must be careful. Do not give your keys to your wallet to anyone. If you really want a safe wallet, I suggest you can try paper or hardware wallet. If you have an online wallet, be careful in what site you are logging into. Check if the website has a secure connection. Being careful is the only way to make sure your wallet is safe.

in our digital world of course facilitated all but in addition to the convenience of nesting hackers who are ready to exploit our negligence when transacting or otherwise. I bought a wallet hardware (trezor) and it's safer than saving on a pc or a smartphone tablet where the hacker can peek at our cryptocurrency data

securing digital wallets is now good as myetherwallet.com, imtoken and also metamask. many cases of hacking happens because of our negligence in accessing the wallet didital, we often rush to click, login and send when the website is the result of Phishing made by the hacker to lure us login and we hit. I usually ask google for the official website of myetherwallet.com and then bookmark it for later use next time. I never access myetherwallet.com the results of submissions from email, social media, telegram or other thrill it is a phishing website that provoked me

Actually it's pretty easy. You just need to use your common sense actually. First of all you just need to not do any financial transactover public wifi and changing your password frequently. I'm sure hackers are getting smarter but in turn security measures gey more elaborate. It's just a matter of eliminating the human error in it.

Yeah I admit that changing and strengthen your password regularly and avoiding public wifi while making any importance transactions is the key point to protect us from hackers. Nothing is 100% safe and secured and cryptocurrencies are not an exception and hackers just keep getting smarter and smarter so it is detrimental to prepare yourself some ways to minimise the possibility of getting hacked.

to secure my coin, I chose to use the ledger wallet, where I feel safer when compared to saving coins on other online wallets although that is decentralized, because the ledger wallet is rarely connected to the internet so chances for the occurrence of hacking is very minimal

Hackers are really everywhere so better never give anyone informations about your wallet keys and keep it safe by activating your two factor authentication and also keep many back up to secure your wallet.
That's the first thing to do. Protect your property first and do not disclose that confidential information. For hackers, it is best not to believe in the vague ambiguity of money, do not let them use greed will lose everything if cheated. Select the major investment channels to reduce the risk.

I think everyone knows that they do not have to give private key to others people and almost every exchange or wallet currently offers 2fa facility. I think only with 2fa it's already very safe. proved I never had a case of theft for 5 years I use bitcoin. because every account I have. I always use 2fa

thank for this great topic .for me the trouble is that people seem to having with cryptocurrency is because the onus is with them for security. So i will say that nobody should give his or her wallet address to anyone keep it to yourself self.

By simply keeping your private keys in private, you would be able to secure your earnings and savings. It is risky if we'll get comfortable on sharing our private keys with anybody because honestly, it is the easiest way for hackers to steal our earnings. Be wise and don't trust people who you don't know well.

The exchanges are also using security measure to keep your crypto safe from hackers. If you are investing huge amount, use a physical wallet.

We all know that in every business in this world. Everything that money is involve, we can say that hackers are just everywhere. They are just waiting for the right moment to attack. I think the system of cryptocurrencies like bitcoin are very secure. They will not let the hackers win. So that is why bitcoin is safe.
