If masternode would normally develop, there would be the first mosaic of ethash algo MN, the price could grow very quickly! Why did everyone forget about this project?

Today we are excited to announce the next phase of Akroma development, major updates on decentralization, Oracles and signup for the first of many beta programs.

https://medium.com/akroma/oracles-proof-of-reputation-and-beta-signup-43084400d5b2

Oracles, Proof of Reputation and Beta Signup!

Current Status
Akroma’s network is a standard PoW (Proof of work) decentralized consensus development platform.

Akroma’s masternode layer contains a traditional SaaS platform. Masternode owners are required to register their masternode with akroma.io. As you can see from the stats below, the system has served us well for our first 9 months.

Masternode stats (8/14):

Active masternodes: 1413
Locked AKA: 7 million
Rewards: 2 million
Current Development
Oracles are the feature that makes Akroma unique. We recently posted a demo video showing Akroma Oracles working on a test network. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cibY-ZGLM7I

Before we can launch our fully decentralized Oracles, we need to take steps to move away from the centralized aspects of Akroma.

This post details some of the steps we are taking. Also, expect a detailed post about Oracles in the next few weeks.

Proof of Reputation
Consensus models require something at stake, in PoW it’s the cost of electricity/cooling/etc, in PoS (Proof of Stake) it is your coins, etc.

Akroma’s masternode layer, especially the more complex masternodes, use Proof of Reputation. PoR is calculated based on a number of factors including age of your masternodes, number of successful validations for your masternodes, number of masternodes, etc.

Currently PoR is stored in the same database as masternode registrations, we expect this value to be published to the Akroma blockchain once Oracles are live.

More details about Proof of Reputation will be posted here: https://docs.akroma.io/proof-of-reputation

Decentralize Everything
Oracles are the future, but before we jump in, we (Akroma) will continue to take the slow and steady process that ensures our software/platform/network are working as expected. So, before we deploy Oracles, we are going to deploy multiple new types of masternodes to the Akroma network.

Introducing the new Akroma masternode types…..
Remote Masternode
Remote Masternodes provide RPC services to light clients, mobile clients, desktop clients, the Akroma explorer and anyone wanting to build on Akroma. You can think of Remote Masternodes as a decentralized version of Ethereum’s Infura service. https://infura.io/

The Remote Masternode gateway is https://remote.akroma.io/

Boot Masternodes
In order to connect to any blockchain network, there needs to be a well-known connection point. For Ethereum, the Ethereum foundation runs a number of boot nodes. For Akroma, the Akroma Foundation currently does the same. Boot Masternodes are a fully decentralized boot layer for Akroma.

Explorer Masternodes
Decentralized networks with centralized explorers? Explorer Masternodes provide a completely decentralized way to access information about address, blocks and transactions, accessible via a global gateway at https://explorer.akroma.io (not live yet) and based on nothing more then DNS.

Balefire Masternodes
Akroma’s Balefire Masternodes make up what we call the Balefire chain, a side-chain of — what we used to call — Oracles, coupled with the Proof of Reputation system Balefire masternodes provide — at NO COST to developers — data from the “real-world”. Akroma will support truly random numbers and access to data from web APIs!

Expect a detailed post about Balefire Masternodes in the next few weeks.

Next Steps
We are running a closed beta testing program, space is limited. If you would like to be part of the beta testing program for Remote Masternodes, please signup here:

Hello,

I'd like to make tokens for influencers / celebrities on Instagram, Youtube, ...

It would require :

- an add-on for users to send and receive tokens. Ideally the add-on should be available for browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox and Firefox 52 (Tor). It would be fine to also have mobile apps for smartphones on Google play store and Apple store.

- the possibility for final users to send tokens for free 2 or 3 times a day, without having to buy anything. It could be done by a free rechargeable reserve of Akroma , enabling 2 or 3 transactions a day. If users want to send more often, they would have to purchase some Akroma.

The idea is that influencers could easily distribute tokens to their fans. Fans would just load the browser add-on or the mobile app, and they would easily receive and transfer tokens, without buying Akroma except if they use the app more than 2 or 3 times a day.

Will it be possible to do such things on Akroma in the near future ?

Thanks

Heads up guys please update your Akroma nodes to version 0.1.1 or above. I have personally used sudo akroma-mn-setup -g latest to update to the latest version. If you're having an issue like akroma-mn-setup: command not found you're probably using the old installer please upgrade the latest which will automatically install the necessary binaries in order for you to upgrade.https://docs.akroma.io/masternodes/operating-systems/installation-on-linux

@everyone - we continue to improve the Akroma masternode network, as we do, tomorrow - the min client version will be 0.1.1 (the Baneslayer release). All out of date nodes will be revoked tomorrow morning.(there are about 400 of them). If your node is out of date, the scripts to update are AMAZING. no excuses.

I'v asked about more than.

My next question: when try send any amount of AKA from my wallet to the same wallet with "Data" to verify MN, no transaction visible in explorer. When "Data" is empty, it's working. I am using Windows wallet.

Don't have experience with the Windows desktop wallet Sad consider using the web wallet at https://wallet.akroma.io or https://www.myetherwallet.com/ <- Switch to the Akroma network

You get the rewards daily if you have an uptime greater than 99% for that day and its distributed between 12-1 PM EST

Hey. Why do not you try the so-called voting for a new exchange in a chat room?

Unfortunately at this moment we just have the normal masternodes with an average reward of 10-9 aka daily and will decrease over time as more nodes get online.  Sad

But on the bright side the team is currently working on a tiered masternode scheme that would require more than 5000 Akroma and a VPS with higher system resources because of the operational tasks for the node compared to the base masternode. Another element to this is that you will need a certain level of reputation. These new nodes will be given more Akroma because of this.

Hey. Why do not you try the so-called voting for a new exchange in a chat room?
That's already been tried a bunch of times and since this is a relatively young project we don't have the numbers to make it in any voting type listing specially on big exchanges.

Ok. But when there will be more miners, reward will be higher, I am right?

no akroma is an eth fork and has a set block time. everyday around the same number of blocks are generated. the more miners there are then the rewards are split among more people. both for miners and for MN holders if more MN holders are there.
