What is the best chart for day trading?

5, 15, or 30?
1 min seems too short.
each of them give slightly different results and are kinda confusing.
what would you recommend for a beginner.

I am using EMA 13 and 34, MACD, and RSI.

Thanks.

For day trading i used 1 hour time frame, and also some indikator like Moving Average periode 20 dan 50, RSI and MACD. When MA 20 crossing and above MA 50 is signal to buy. RSI and MACD to know price level on oversold and overbought.

I think today is not a good day to trade. We can see that bitcoin prices are falling slightly to $ 11,000, and other pennies are falling. Due to unfavorable news from Korea and China, bitcoin prices have dropped and investors are hesitant. At the moment, I recommend buying a lot of Tether to prepare for the coming storm.

I also think that this is the right time for you to buy tether hoard, because the price of Tether is currently very cheap you take advantage of this opportunity to buy fast to wait until the bitcoin and other copper prices increase. we can go shopping.
At present bitcoin prices are tending to decrease slightly and according to my analysis, bitcoin prices are having strong resistance and breaking the threshold of reversing price increases.

Did you even read the post before replying? I don't think he is asking if its a good time to trade. What he is asking is the settings for the chart if its good to use 5, 15 or 30 minutes.

I change the minutes interval depending on the volume of trade, look at how fast is the of transaction, if the volume is high and there's a lot of exchanging happening then you need to have an updated chart based on the exchanges made in shorter period of time because if you wait for another 30 minutes for an update, it maybe to late to decide once you see the status of your investment. I guess 15 minutes is the ideal for day traders.

I believe today is the right time for you to trade shortwave. As bitcoin prices are on a downward trend, other coin prices also tend to fall. You should know the information and buy yourself the most potential coins that can be earned in the short term. I know some potential coin like Tether and XPR or BNB.

Usually when you are choosing longer time chart, confirmation you will be getting will be more stronger. Usually I do prefer to follow 4 hours chart because it will be giving very significant trend change and you will not get disappointments on small noises. Because, market will always fluctuate and when you are following smaller time frame then you will get misguided by any short-term fluctuations which may be leading into losses.

Other than time frame, you must follow combination of strategies so that you will get double confirmation which is more important than following any fixed time-frame chart.

http://www.cryptocoincharts.info - It lists all of the exchanges and you can individually go into each and every one and choose which chart would suit you best. I would personally recommend besides this option the next two:

http://bitcointicker.co/
https://dc-charts.com/

If you are looking the tools  MACD and RSI are very good options and you don't need to search any further!

30 minutes timeframe is much better because it is non choppy and a little bit stable than the other two timeframe be asvit may if your strategy is used for crypto trading then it has to be properly perfected due to the nature of cryptos I.e high volatility.

I think that to be able to know the exact best trading hours is impossible, it is very difficult. As each coin is different, there is different information, but we can not know when there is good news when bad news can be commercial. so really i can hardly give you the exact answer. I only advise you to combine information and technical analysis you will know whether you should trade or not.

If you are going to day trade, only do it with coins with big volume. I would suggest 30min 1 hr and 45min charts with a stochs rsi, parabollic sar and ichimoku cloud indicators. Those 3 should be enough.

I have three approaches when it comes to watching charts. Three of them are for three different situations.
1. Day trading or Scalping: Always go for 15 Min Chart. 15 min chart will give you a slightest idea what patter happened last day while will also make you aware about the things happening today.

2. Short trading: Always go for 4 hours chart. They are the ideal indicators better than any other charts. They give complete information about the movement and trends what the coin has been carrying in past.

3. Long term trading. Needless to say there is no chart required when it comes to this type of trading. Invest only in coins you think are worthy for it.

On day trading I use all of these timeframes and also use 1,2,4 hours to determine what trend is now, to what price it can move during the day and depending on expectations buy or sell

It seems to me these days are not the best ones for trading, and it does not matter which time you choose for trading. Just do not be too active. IMHO.

I believe mostly in 30 and 1 hrs candlestick charts. I fell like 5 and 15 min charts are too shorts for prediction and taking any decision. From my personal experience, I also realised that 1 hr prediction is mostly correct on the basis on various indicators appear on the charts.
MACD and RSI are good to determine entry and exit in a trade.
