In my own opinion, there is only 2 cryptocurrency in the market that is really profitable if you are going to invest, ethereum and bitcoins is really good for long term investment and they are showing potential in the market so that is the reason i only believe on this two cryptocurrency.

Some of them even run bounties here and end up exiting scams after their ICOs. Leaving a bad taste to everyone joining bounties.

So I suggest reading some of reviews on how to spot ICOs that are potentially scam or scam.

Many are set up to scam from the beginning. They have whitepapers and telegram groups but are FULL scams
