Hey guys, long time reader, first time poster! I'm currently in the process of creating my own ICO (a real world app mixed with cryptocurrency features) and wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone had tips or any advice on getting the process done yourself VS hiring a company to do it. I'm assuming a company will take care of all of the legal aspects of it, aswell as helping launch the actual currency and ICO process but I'm not sure of any good ones to reach out to - I was hoping to have it set up so that I can have them on a contract and they get paid from the ICO funds rather then forking it up upfront (as it tends to be high cost I'm assuming). Any advice/insights is helpful! For context, we already have a professional white paper, website and a small team but are still hiring more. Thanks!
You want to run an ICO? Are you sure. This process is not easy at all and very inefficient.
You need a lot of experts form all sides helping you on small little tasks and you need to pay them a lot.
First, website , then reach out and build community, at the same time you should have understood and drafted the utility of the token. At this point you better not be far off from releasing the whitepaper.
Then you start to apply to trackers, reach out to influencers, you need that content plan in place and start marketing and community managing.
Oh hey you thought that was all? Hell no, investor relation, speaking at meetups/event, constant online presence, you got to start speaking to exchanges, also at this point you better have an account at which you can cash out huge sums of money. Wait you also need a bank that will accept crypto and not block the deposits.
I mean it goes on and on, I work in this field and advise ICO's I just scratched the surface of the workload.
