BTC could go down to $5,000. What do you think?
Yes there's a possibility that bitcoin can go back at $5,000 cos we are at $8,700 this dawn. I'm keeping my finger crossed and this isn't going to stay any longer. I can't attain to see the charts at $8,000 - $9,000 as I'm even good with $10,000. But this is the reality that it can go further and the best thing to do is watch or buy but don't sell. |

This is possible if this is the ultimate correction or the long awaited bubble that we are waiting to burst but i pray this is not. I believed that $8,000 to $9,000 is the most lowest price decrease as people will already buying of these amount in which Bitcoin is unpredictable that it might rise up suddenly lossing the opportunity to buy cheapest price at $9,000. |

Nothing is impossible in bitcoin, it could happen, considering last year bitcoin and its ranks had a pretty crazy rise, it's not impossible that bitcoin will return to the base price again. It's scary to hear bitcoin falling for $ 5,000, but if that's the case, then I have to get ready to put up a net to buy, I regret to sell it at a cheap price last time.

I think that such scenario is possible. Nobody will tell you for 100% as everything will be because nobody knows actually. My assumptions the fact that it is possible, but in the long term everything will be favorable....

Possible but not going to happen since the price now seems to go green again. The dip lasted down to 6000 usd mark. I do believe it can stoop down more but the dip shook of weak hands and some of btc holdings are now in a much safer hands. |

I agree with post above. Way too much optimism still. I've been here and seen it all before, several times now. I would expect the price to crash here in the coming weeks... there will probably be a period of panic with the price falling below $1000 at least temporarily. People would be foolish to buy in at the current prices, because it's going to be a downward trajectory here for awhile.
The emotions of the people are running wild and with reason, the price of bitcoin is no joke and it keeps as volatile as ever this creates great uncertainty so when things seem to go wrong the predictions from people tend to be very grim but when things go right the predictions can border the impossible with people predicting that each bitcoin will reach a value of 1 million dollars. |

Maybe yes or maybe not because we cannot predict about it. There are very few chance that it will happen in future. According to current market situation I don’t think it will happen in future. Most of the times it will never happen. Right now, people are mad about BTC. They blindly invested in Bitcoin. The total market cap of Bitcoin is tremendously increasing. If Bitcoin continues falling right now it will reach up to 8000$ then again it started rising. |

within a period of about 2 weeks bitcoin prices fall $ 2000, it is undeniable that $ 5000 will happen. but we'll see in the event world cup 2018 whether the price will bounce up or down. |

I think the barrier is $5000 and once the price decrease that the price increasing again because many people buy again bitcoin and it's increase again very high the price.
The price is decreasingly slowly and we seem to be in danger of growing below $7,000. However, I think it is too premature to talk about the price going below $5,000. There are quite a few support levels on the way. We may see high volume trading, but the price wont rebound to those very high levels you are talking about. |

These kind of falls are not that new when it comes to bitcoin and if you are trading bitcoin you should know about it, there is no factors in the market to see a major correction to $5k, people who wanted to sell their coins would wait for the market to recover to sell off rather than selling it at these valuations, unless there is some terrible news from the market i do not see the price going to $5k. |

No one can able to predict if bitcoin will touch $5000 this year but it may be possible in the future if demand for the top cryptocurrency will go down. There are some negative factors are capable to bring down bitcoin price to that level like a continued government crackdown or hacking a big exchange. Aside from that there are also a influential group trying to bring down bitcoin price so they can able to buy it at a cheaper price.
