I know that I'm a little bit in late as this project has now more than 2 years...but it's never too late.
I have some ZEC on my ledger nano s wallet.
I see that Zel is a hard fork of ZEC. But when I search for ZEC fork, I only find information about a coin with name ycash (YEC)

My question is maybe stupid, but I wonder If I can claim some Zel as I had some ZEC before the fork.

I want to run my Zelnode but when I run zelbench-cli getstatus
I get:

But I have status "started" to my node....
After few hours I get status offline.

My daemon work fine when I delete zelnode=1 in Zelcash.conf

An idea what can be the problem? My VPS??

There is no fee you need to pay in ZelCore in order to install and run zelnodes. You must be doing something wrong.
Also, the latest version is working without problems on Windows.

As i see many users here saying there is no development in this project and that is abandoned, i will try and post updates from the team.
This is one of the most active projects in the crypto space and i would like to make people realize it's true potential and value.

The network they have built now consists of 900+ ZelNodes which are different from your typical masternode. There are minimum system requirements for different tiers of ZelNodes, from which the BAMF tier requires no less than:

-32GB RAM
-600GB SSD Storage

-207TB SSD Storage Space

WHICH IS INSANE!

All these resources are managed by a decentralized operating system called ZelFlux, which allows developers to build and run apps using the networks HUGE COMPUTING POWER.
