Because ICO is too risky for many people and has many crooks inside it, if all projects choose ICO, the circulation of cryptocurrencies will exceed that of legal tender and will have a huge impact on the national economy. Therefore, many countries prohibit ICOs.

Maybe they see some related risks. Some ICOs are tricky and include a lot of risks. Besides, It is not very good for state economics, it can threaten people and increase value of money laundering.

ICO ban is not surprise to me. The hype over ICO in 2017 went over board and needed to be controlled. More so, there were a lot of scam ICOs in the mix. The promoters of ICO need to repackage their ideas to make it more convincing that it is good business in the eyes of government.

That would be because majority of them are scams. Also, South Korea's ICO ban is different from China. China banned it outright, while South Korea's ban only prevents local firms from promoting or participating in ICOs. The regular crypto user should be able to participate in foreign ICOs, unless they changed the scope of their ban.

It's also worth noting that neither ban is permanent, and will likely be lifted once proper regulations have been made for them.

You are misinformed dude, because South Korea did not ban the ICO but only some of their local exchanges in which they found out that they are using questionable bank accounts and China did bot ban ICO too because they only regulated it to ensure the safety of their citizens. These crashes was due to corrections in which is normal in that we need to hold, wait and see.

I think this is only temporary. Because as cryptocurrencies evolve, more and more people know about cryptocurrencies, their bans can also be broken by avid people. The purpose of the ban is for fear of being cheated of money by cheat programs, but ICO will be allowed to confirm the reliability of a project.

For my opinion is because the market will be bankrupt or to lose so I think that is why? , the risk to be precise. To be honest im doing some basic search regarding this and here's what I got.
