we will book 400 hostesses. Can't tell if serious. That could be a large chunk of the overall budget, no? If this was meant as a humorous comment, rather than a factual statement about accommodations, I'd ask you to be a bit more circumspect in your claims. I realize you're putting in a large amount of work on this thing. However, at some level, you have a duty to not misrepresent what we may expect for our payment. The winky thing at the end of that line supports the humorous comment theory.

You've still not answered the question. 150 * 400 = 60,000 -> 6% of projected budget. Perhaps you see this as insignificant. I do not. I don't mean to be a pain in your side - indeed, I thank you for taking this on. However, to have 1/20 of the overall budget either in the plan or not in the plan, based upon a wink and a nod, at this late date, seems a bit loosey-goosey. Edit: Am I the only one that feels a 2.5:1 reveler:hostess ratio is out of whack, any way you look at it?

I live in a University town. If I went to 4 or 5 sororities and said hey, who wants to go to a $1000 a ticket party (for free), explain to them what it was a why I bet you could get a few hundred girls and their females friends with out a whole lot of effort. The only cost might be the Limo service to the party and back. Should be a lot less than $150 a head for the other girls we were talking about. no sororities in germany, but i see what you are talking about. in my opinion a good idea. we are thinking in similar directions to get closer to the ratio.

A bunch of bitcoiners getting totally drunk together. I'd want to do this anytime!
Great. Since I don't drink, I guess I'll end up being the designated driver, piloting a jet full of drunks to wherever the hell it is you all call home. As for the hostess issue, here's how you can save money, and still keep us happy:

This is wrong, there are 100% female sororities in Germany. But not many & they usually consist of fugly women.

I've been struggling with how to answer this. In the end, I guess I just need to admit that I have no idea. I've never had call to plan an event such as this, so I have no experience upon which to draw. It just struck me as odd. I could see an argument for ~1:1, and I could see an argument for ~10:1. Anywhere in between just seems 'off' to me. Having said my piece, I'll withdraw from this sub-topic, as I have nothing further of value to add. To the greater topic, however, I must have missed your answer to the direct question regarding whether or not there would be ~400 hostesses in attendance.

We don't need a 1:1 ratio.... Perhaps if we bring our significant other they get in for free, whether the couple is straight or gay.
That could fix part of the ratio problem....Even if the system can be easily exploited, anyone gets a chance to bring their date to the party.

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

That might save a few euros on the hostess bill.

no, this will be a silent hodling party. I like that! Sit in silence and reflect on the bitcoin's wild years. Or not. Is there a number of bookings somewhere? And what is the cutoff number?

And what is the cutoff number? 20 tickets paid, 230 reservations, if we reach 100 tickets* it will take off, if not = 100% refund uups, it just went to 21 https://blockchain.info/de/address/3NaGPeYAZztGnyUjDrkA4VmvMngRF12cF3https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=368601.0*it will not be as bombastic as if it reaches 1000 guests, but with a $ 100 k budget it should still be cosy enough.

that i exactly the problem. no, don´t get me wrong: no problem with gay at all ( ), but they will be a lot of people pretending if they could save $ 1000 this way. it will get very swampy if we go in this direction. in addition , it would cut the budget 50% since we would have to plan everything for the double number of attendants.
