I for one wouldn't have joined this forum if I had to pay to post.
Your posts are pretty good, you would rank up under the idea.
It's not ranking up that worries me, it's the fact that I wouldn't have joined in the first place if I'd have to pay to post. And people like me won't join either.
Thank you for endorsing the idea! The fact is, alot of people haven't got much to say. What's wrong with pricing posting to reflect that? Lots of people will hate it; lots of people aren't needed, quality is.
I've never been a member of any other forum with as much spam as Bitcointalk. I'd love to see a forum with only high quality posts, but I don't think it's realistic.
Let me drop theymos' quote here (click for context):
I do want to hear the thoughts of people who can't speak perfect English, people with extreme/offensive ideas, people who are rude while still making legitimate points, etc.
How about if newbie's post character would be 75 and the interval time of posting is one or two hours, two hours is good I guess.
Great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great post!A minimum length doesn't make a post better. A strong "yes" or "no" could be a very good answer already.
Increasing the time between posts won't matter for spambots, but it's terrible for humans. What if someone posts a question in
Bitcoin Technical Support, and he has to wait 2 hours to post again? Should he make an alt-account just to be able to post again?
