Hello everyone,
I have been running Dual claymore ( v.10.0) miner for 1 day now and I don't know why I'm getting only 15 M hashes (as far as I know I should be getting something like 22 M hashesh/s on this card). I have the 3 GB version of this card, any ideas how can I fix this?

Thank you for your answers Smiley!

You probably have card with hynix memory, and you can't reach 22mh/s.
19-20 is good for hynix.

I have an ASUS DUAL GTX 1060 3 gb card. How can I know what type of memory do I have? I would be more than happy with 20 MH/s but 15 is like 25 % less than that. Any ideas on what to do?

Have you overclocked your cards memory? Because 15 is good for stock Hynix. But with +600 memory, you will get around 20.

Download https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ and see what it says about the maker of your memory Smiley

Come on buddy, you have to OC your cards.... use MSI afterburner. +600 on the memory and see what you get.

If you have Samsung you MAY be able to push +900 or +1000 which will have you running at around 25 MH/.

All of my 3GB samsung 1060's run 25 Mh/s with +1000.

bought some asus GPUs some time ago, they were all hynix. I got more luck with EVGA, Zotac and MSI (got Samsung on all of them)

13 GPU Nvidia Rig running under Ubuntu 16 (eth hash rate: 300+Mh/s @ 1000W for whole rig): 3x EVGA GTX 1060 3Gb (24MH/s @ 65W) + 6x MSI Armor GTX 1060 3Gb (24MH/s @ 70W) + 1x MSI GTX 1060 (24Mh/s @ 65W) + 3x Zotac GTX 1060 (24MH/s @ 65 W). PSU 2400W, Asrock ASRock H110 Pro BTC+, cheap Chinese risers, Kingston SSD 120Gb, 8Gb memory. Selling some of my GPUs (around 200€, still under warranty), if you're interested, contact me in private.

Running three EVGA 1060SSC and one 1060FTW, all 3GB.  SSCs are 23.5mh with memory overclocked +820mhz in Afterburner.  FTW is around 20.5mhz with memory overclocked +420.  Cards are drawing about 85-90w each.

EVGA typically uses better components, especially in the higher clocked models.

I have Gigabyte 3GB (x3) GTX 1060s and they gave 15 MH/s out of the box. 17-18 with OC.

It's twice as profitable to mine Equihash on these. I get 300-310 Sols/s with OC @ 2.94 Watt/Sol or 280 @ 3.02 W/Sol

As everyone else has mentioned, you need to overclock your card. Also, if you are dual mining with Claymore, try just mining Eth is see what your hash rate is then. I don't use Claymore these days, but I remember that dual mining was more profitable on AMD cards than Nvidia. Maybe a current claymore NVidia user can way weight in on this.

Have been using strictly ASICs for BTC for the last little while (Antminer S7s and S9s) and thinking of taking the plunge of building a rig. I am really looking at getting the GTX1060. I know there is ways to play with voltage and memory OC the cards. I am curious if any of you guys know if there are any differences between 1 fan mini cards and 2 fan or 3 fan units. Definitely looking for a 6gb unit to future proof for when the dag file grows past 3gb (ETH will probably switch to POS before that I am guessing).

Also, do these warranties actually work? I am reading that MSI offers a 3 year warranty on their cards. I am curious if they can determine that constant 24/7 running is considered abuse...

The design with 1 fan gets hotter. 2 or 3 fans are better options to consider, but other than that they mine at the same speed (depending on a memory manufacturer).
The warranty should still apply when no physical damage is visible Smiley.

I have tried mining Z cash and I got 270 Hashes/s (without overclock) 290 OC, but for some reason Nice hash is still more profitable for me.
