I somehow agree with what you said but not totally because bitcoin price will dump to the $5800 you mentioned this weekend and the market will get back to gain some slightly increasing in price before the gain the bullish market.

I sometimes tend to argue that long-term investment for bitcoin is effective because of what is happening today in the market. Yes, we were able to reached the $8000 mark for quite sometime but again it stop from there then drops again gradually until it go down to where it was before at around $6400. I bet bitcoin is no longer good for a long-term investment. Since its price now is below $8K, this is the best time to buy more bitcoin if can afford to then wait until it reached $8K-9K then sell it for profit.

I have observed that the bitcoin price has not really yet soar up high just like its performance in the recent year 2017. However, it can be seen that the price is actively moving up and down and I believe that if you have enough fund it is a wise move to buy bitcoin and you can just keep it and once you  see that the price is moving high and you think you can have profit you can sell it again and then buy again. So if we can see this, once ETF is already launch the market will recover and have an easy profit if you'll buy now. Today bitcoin was 6000 and this is not the bottom i think. We can see 4500 soon, if bear market will not end. Unfortunately, BTC chart looks very weak and i decided to wait with fiat. This is really sad times for crypto market. All altcoins are undervaluade now. And i can not find the logic in trading past days. SO i think that now waiting is the best tactics.
