I've been waiting almost 2 months wondering why I couldn't post till I found this thread... I understand they don't want spammers on here but thats what mods are for.  Hopefully 4 hrs from now I'll be able to post.

It's 4 hours yous should spend reading the forums. The time is in place partially to protect the forums having the same questions asked tens of thousands of times, when the search function is there for that. Not that it's really working. But you could for example read up on address collision before you think of this risk and decide to ask about it.

Install a auto refresh plugin, set it at 1 min and leave browser open for 4 hours.

Don't open a new thread every 5 minutes. Only open a thread if it's something which you can't information on or you want to introduce yourself. Opening a new thread every 5 minutes which you wouldn't normally could cause a big deal of spam.

I think if someone intends to come on here and be a serious member of the forums, four hours is nothing. I registered my account about 3 hours ago and already have logged more than 1 hour of log in time. And that's not just mindless refreshing to get my time up, either, I'm just browsing threads that I find interesting and learning.

Those who are too impatient to just put in the four hours are restricted for a reason.
