Of course it won't end well, juts like the dollar, the euro, all human made currencies of the past 10,000 years. Life itself, if I remember well, doesn't end well, for none of us. What matters is just what happend BEFORE one day it eventually won't end well.

That's the sort of phrase you would hear from a butthurt friend who didn't buy in before 2017. Of course, WB's skepticism of cryptocurrency (namely Bitcoin) has been well publicised over the years.
I mean by definition, Bitcoin can't possibly end well because ending would be terrible, unless we are talking about the wider blockchain movement.

I think the demise of Bitcoin, given sufficient time, is a foregone conclusion. It was the first of its kind. A completely new invention. History provides a plethora of examples of first gen technologies being improved upon and eventually replaced...
Who remembers Netscape? It was great when it came out, but subsequent iterations of web browsers meant that it was left in the dust.
Want to go back further? Seen many Model-T Fords getting around? Sure, they still exist as collectors items, and as such, they still have some value, but they're not the regular mode of transport they once were. Why? Because they are limited in their capacity to perform the tasks they were designed for to meet current expectations.
I think Bitcoin will be somewhat similar. As next gen coins with faster transaction speeds, higher transaction volumes and lower fees replace it as the currency of choice, there will still be a segment of the community who will want to retain a piece of crypto-history. But, in general, it will become an archaic piece of that history.
How long this takes is the (multi) million dollar question.

Okay i'll give you example my friend, Stone Age era what are they doing that time? Do they have cash before? They use stone or gold to trade products and do you think they believe on cash? That it will use for buying and selling goods. Compare it to our era?! Remember we're in the first Phase of mass adoption and we'll look forward to our next blockchain adoption.

Want to go back further? Seen many Model-T Fords getting around? Don't think of Bitcoin as a Model-T, think of Bitcoin as Ford. There are more car manufacturers, and there are more cryptocurrencies. But Ford adapted to survive, and so will Bitcoin. I have very high hopes for SegWit: cheap transactions on a massive scale, backed by the most secure cryptocurrency ever created! Warren Buffet saying Bitcoin won't last is like Bill Gates saying "640 kb ought to be enough for anybody". Or IBM president Thomas Watson saying "I think there is a world market for maybe five computers.". These are just a few of many foolish tech predictions from market leaders at their time.

Cryptocurrencies are not stable currency. Their values goes up & down. So we cannot make investment in bitcoin according to anyone's words. Our personal decision is what matters here. Dont take decisions according to anyones statement.
When it comes to investment, can you pin point any form of investment that could give you are guaranteed profit,be it in stock exchange or any form of investment, there is no stable prices not guaranteed profits in any investment,if you are able to take the risk, you will reap the benefit . Therefore instead on worrying up on when would be the end its better to focus on how you do reap off profits on the opportunity that it gives on making money. It would be more wiser if you wont really worried enough. If it would withstand to go on long term or not. No one really knows on what would be the future looks like when we do talk about crypto. The most important thing here is that we can able to make money on recent times.

I have understood that the government has the power to win every way to fight crypto, and I doubt the end will be there now or see the inherent benefits and bitcoin decentralization is indeed difficult to be shut down by any government. So I believe that bitcoin still has a long way to get the whole community prosperous.

While we have crypto that changes its mind by any words by "big heads",we cant predict the definite ending. If u aint sure about BTC, sell out. Otherwise, select that kind of opinions like this one

Let me put it this way. I do not think any of these guys have completely understood how cryptocurrency works, or haven't got their minds to undertsanding it. I know he is a financial genius, but he is old and the world in which he lived in is gone. Einstein had difficulty accepting Quantum mechanics but the Copenhagen interpretation is the accepted one now. For example one might think that cryptocurrency with applications might find widespread acceptance, it seems to be the opposite. Some of the currently useless currency having perhaps faster transaction times may work. It is still an explosively evolving field. What happens here will be studied by economists in the future.

What is your opinion as per Warren buffet statement, he is a wealthy giant globally he told CNBC on Wednesday the recent craze over bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies won't end well. "In terms of cryptocurrencies, generally, I can say with almost certainty that they will come to a bad ending," Am really scared hope the end is not near. I want to hear from knowledgeable individual what the future holds.
He is right about this aspect. Just think of the people holding the bitcoins when it collapses. I just hope that this situation never happens and developers keep making improvements for further growth.

That is wrong information. He cannot invest in crypto now as it will affect his credibility. I mean he will not accept this thing publicly even if he invested.

Sounds like a good tactic. Technically, Warren Buffet can cause the markets to move if he changes his mind on it.

It's called status quo bias. People who make a lot of money in inflationary fiat economy will not like decentralization.

The most in-depth thought process these old cadavers have had lately is determining what pudding flavor they had for lunch. Would any of you actually take investing advice from any of these senile old turds? Then you may as well take investing advice from this guy:

I think Warren Buffet is now outdated. I respect his financial advice.... only about anything related to fiat money. Because heck, he's the Oracle of Omaha. But the world is changing so fast - so fast that he could not keep up with the latest trends in technology and society. I doubt if he can even explain blockchain, and this technology is fastly taking root in everything. He may be an expert in money, but not in bitcoin. He support the banking system or the centralized system as a whole because he got his wealth from this.

Crypto is nothing like the world has ever seen before. So you can forget about the previous ways of making money, because even if you were successful at that doesn't mean that you will understand and be successful at crypto as well. So read whatever he's saying, but take it with a grain of salt.

He is just old man who doesn't really understand the technology. Just like initially he said he won't invest in any IT company then later invested in IBM and Apple...IBM investment turned out to be bad call but Apple phew....good return.
Guess same thing will happen if he decided to join the ICO hah...
