Started to try this one but was curious if 500 hashes is ok for a 1080 no OC ?
Thanks
It's a bit low for a 1080 - each of mine do 550 - 560 with just a bit of OC and using the tpruvot fork of ccminer - but its not unusually low. Note, however, that Nvidia cards really don't do well at Cryptonight, when evaluated on a $ / hashrate basis; AMD cards are much better. I personally would not mine with NVIDIA cards. A cheap RX550 can do 500h/s under 45W. Why would you waste the potential of a GTX1080 on a algorithm that cripples it's performance.

This interview doesn't really discuss the current shit trtl is dealing with, like unsyncable wallets, days old pending transactions.... I'm not familiar with any 'unsyncable wallets'. People have had a couple of issues with simplewallet not syncing w/ TurtleCoind daemon properly, which is addressed by doing a `reset` command in the wallet. There is also an issue related to trying to use a simplewallet-created wallet file in walletd and vice versa. The solution was to leverage the 'walletgreen' code for wallet file management and that is already in testing. Large transactions can indeed be held up when the balance is a combination of many small transactions. Fusion transactions to combine smaller amounts into larger ones in a wallet, and chunking large payments into several smaller payments, are both solutions. Both are implemented and in testing in GUI wallet. -bebop

I read the presentation of the project. What I would like to advise the developers. Too many meaningless words. About some fun with the miners. What for? I think that less words and more meaning should be. The meaning, the description of such words, that it was clear to the investor, who is far from technical details.

Hi guys, Has anybody been in trouble with turtle.atpool.party? Since yesterday seems to be not sinchroized (according to it's dashboard) and has stopped paying in the last 24 hours, but continues mining and finding blocks. Unfortunately that pool has no further info. Already moved to another pool, but it would be nice to know. Cheers,

With a 1080 one should be mining equihash or something like that, not cryptonote.

Hey everyone, don't forget that tonight is the turtlecoin typhoon party. If you're new to turtlecoin, or want more information on how to participate, the info is here. Millions of turtlecoins will be rained down because everyone is pointing their mining rigs to the rainbot. You can help out with us by pointing your mining rigs to turtlebotrain's address too: TRTLv3nW7vX3WXx5CRprf1ifYcY26yYPiVK9E6ocN91DKpUmqADA17n9qcE9QBCgJriGZZcbHuwwKFC 8RomYVPDZah8dBN32BbZ

The 1 trillion coins too much i think The point is to have a coin that everyone can have millions of, while also have a lot of awesome low-cost transaction fees. The coin actually is the first that uses a decimal. And the default tx fee is only 0.1 turtle. That's insane, man.

Just found Turtlecoin, for me it's the next dogecoin on CryptoNight algo. I hope we can buy pizza with TRTL coin I also saw this token is pretty good. Let's hope it can get many results of this token signature campaign. and I hope the project more successful. We may find any possibilities of this project, well just support this TurtleCoin. With the clear idea offered on their website and whitepaper, I'm sure that this token will be much prettier.

Your post doesn't make any sense, and I'm going to err on the side of it being ESL rather than spam. But to clear up your obvious misconceptions: TurtleCoin (TRTL) is not a token. It is a standalone coin that is a fork of Bytecoin.

I'm inclined to err on the side of this being bestpikka and fortelen shitposting for their respective sig campaigns; fortelen's post history - the only one I wasted time checking - certainly isn't worth reading.

The 1 trillion coins too much i think 1 trillion coins is not too much, if you look at how much there actually are. Look at it like this, there are 1 trillion TRTL at 2 decimal places so you could say there are 100 trillion available 'coins' - WOW! that's a big number, but with Bitcoin there are 21 million with each Bitcoin being divisible by 100,000,000 (100million satoshi per Bitcoin), so if I've done my sums right that's 2100 Trillion Bitcoin !!! A lot more than available TurtleCoin.

in this market environment Turtle is the best coin to mine if you own a vega64/56/FE
cant loose with USD price locked on BTC fluctuations at 1 satoshi, and 2000H/s per GPU yields the best short term results
long term or slow and easy as the shell team likes to say: at 2 satoshi you just doubled your worth at 3 tripple and so on and so forth BTC value in USD goes up so does yours
risk reward considered, Turtle Coins im minning and vaulting
just my 2 decimals.....

to mine or not to mine, is not a question...

Could we create a community wallet that people could donate to that could get burned at a certain date that would be a nice way for the community to reduce the circulating Supply.
