I am unsure how to set the difficulty when i mine, i have tried to use -p d=512000,c=BTC,mc=TRTL
I do recall using cpuminer or sgminer or ccminer back in the day and then -u username.worker  OR address  -p d=0.005   whatever - for a coin.
Now i am not sure with zergpool or using xmrig in this case.

Like i said , I have used:
xmrig.exe -a chukwa -o stratum+tcp://chukwa.mine.zergpool.com:4458 -u ***btc***address -p d=512000,c=BTC,mc=TRTL
I am getting accepted shares but it is very very slow.

Correct, the policy of using miners’ hashrate was from the end of 2018. Pools one way or another have to cover the cost to survive. Putting pool fee on low value coins will NEVER be enough for servers’ cost. Pools will benefit miners’ hashrate if they do not merge mine.

The first public mining announcement began on January 14, 2018.

Between the two dates, 100,000 blocks or 3,000,000,000 TurtleCoin were minted.

That makes 0.3% of Total Supply or 4.25 of Circulating Supply.
