I think that if bitcoin dies, all the coins will go with it. Bitcoin is like the master coin, the base on which cryptocurrency is built. If bitcoin gets banned, then most, if not all cryptocurrencies will die with it, simply because of the nature of the ban. However, if Bitcoin itself were to suffer some sort of severe security breach, such as someone exploiting the core protocols, then it is likely that bitcoin will collapse, whilst invulnerable altcoins will rise.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Actually Bitcoin is pioneer and many coins based on Bitcoin platform and the falling of Bitcoin will badly affect all coins.Now some coins also growing based on Ether hope in future will grow more and successful to capture the market will be best alternate to survive without BTC. No doubt it will take and the current trend shows Bitcoin will never die and will survive too long.

There is no doubt that bitcoin is extremely influential in the market and that if bitcoin were to disappear a great deal of the coins that exist today will disappear as well, however the necessity of a coin like bitcoin will not disappear so I expect that some coins will survive and then those coins are going to thrive and probably get all the market cap of all the coins that disappeared.

Basing on the market today bitcoin is dumping hard and also the alt coins. I guess without bitcoin the other coins will be gone too. What do you think?
if digital currencies such as bitcoin disappear then it is certain that many altcoins also disappear because the coin that is the mother of all coin of digital currency has disappeared, but in my opinion it is unlikely that bitcoin will never disappear. |

Keeping aside Bitcoin you can't think the existence of the blockchain system, I think Bitcoin is the mother of this platform. If Bitcoin will not survive then people will lose the maximum amount of capital in the blockchain system and people will lose the hope for creating anything new. Not only that but also investors or traders will be discouraged to be involved in this platform in the future without Bitcoin.

In my opinion,if Btc gone other coins will also be affected, otherwise it mayn't survive.Because Btc is the most creditable and popular currency.The oldest currency is so much the impact on everything else.So it would be impossible to survive other alts coins when it goes.But there are some powerful alts coins that can run addition to Btc.

When it happens in first year it will affect all cryptocurrencies like huge a dump then most of them like top 50 will be much more stronger in a year and marketplace will be more independent more decentralized.

In my opinion BTC is the market leader, if the BTC disappears, perhaps other coin will also be difficult. But in reality BTC will never disappear, as they are the market leader, BTC develops sustainably.

i think if bitcoin disappears then surely some altcoin will try to try to replace bitcoin so that altcoin will work very hard to create it and scramble for position to replace bitcoin. but it seems that it will not be possible because bitcoin will always move and always exist.

BTC is the leading crypto market leader. It is not easy for them to disappear from the market. But if they disappear, then all other coins will be shattered. No coin can survive if BTC dies. |

I think so too because bitcoin is main coin in cryptocurrecy all of us is using it in investment and other thing it's big collapse if bitcoin will gone because a lot of coin crypto will not survive if bitcoin will gone in the market. |

yes ! of course , because all the other coins are based on bitcoin if bitcoin is gone the whole crypto world will be a scam but its not possible because its the future and day by day its use is increasing rapidly .
This is invalid about Bitcoin and other cryptos because this is not going to happen in the future as the Bitcoin has been with difficult situations and that worst situations can never come again and now the ways are open for Bitcoin so this thread is invalid about its statement. However the answer should be yes, incase if Bitcoin dies all the other cryptos will die just because if the strongest can not survive then the weakest are nothing to survive. |

Maybe if bitcoin is gone a lot of coin will crash or gone too but I think somehow there's a some way to survive other coin even without bitcoin. And I think bitcoin will not gone because bitcoin is a main coin of all coin. |
