It makes sense that when you sell of your crypto assets especially bitcoin out of panic, then you are contributing to the dump because its market capitalization will decrease. So as the market cap is decreasing, it only means that the demand of people is declining, thus, the market price also decreases.

I think not so, by panic selling, the seller is actually contributing to the dumping of a coin, because  his share further adds up to the already excess supply in the market and any student of Economics would gladly tell you that whenever there's excess supply in any market, price usually drops, a case in hand is the recent plunge in the price of Bitcoin.

Currently a lot of bad and false news about bitcoin, it certainly makes bitcoin prices difficult to rise and it continues to decline, let alone a lot of users who panic so that prices continue to correction.

In retrospect it is easy to say that but in a situation where your money is at stake its understandable to try to cut losses.

This just a typical reaction of investor who put in their life saving money into investment, Yes, some behavior would indicate that they are just cutting the lost or possible lost. But, in investment market trading, one should consider the Volatility on the Market, it can change the movement of the market at any given time with our knowledge. No one knows what will happened next. It all depends, on the volume of trading movement or investment in the market, which influence the price value of one coin at any given time. All possible reaction of individual during the down stream of the said price value on the investment they are into, would reflect to both negative indication to the market.

Nowadays some people don't know the coin price how to check and where to check. So that the reason of some people get the more loss. So people before buy and sell check the market place. This information help to people invest in the right coin. If price will be low buy the coin and wait for the price increase. Then sell. If want know the price increase check the market day by day. It any to increase the price. So wait for the price increase.

Only the weak hands are contributing to the panic ,in this situation the best way to do is to let those weak hands sell all thier coins, and youre one who will buy those coins .

Weak hands always have weak heart when they facing on fluctuation market. They will panic with high movement in market. Better we preparing a good psychology if we are short trader but if we are long time holder its much better for market

I agree, the more people more panic you will do, the more coin will going to sell and the more dump it will be. When theres a drop or fall, some of us are creating some topic saying why it is falling, and some are saying because of something, and because of that speculations the more people will going to panic specially those who have weak hands, they will do panic selling and that is the time that the slight fall will going to become a big fall.

agree with you the more we sell the more people worry and ask ourselves "if so many people sell it then they are sure that it does not rise" that's because of this and get a dump

Many of us here are saying, why is the cryptocurrencies market is getting a dump these days. Some are saying is because of the FuD, others are saying it is because of regulations laws in south Korea and India which is also child of FUD. But did you know that  when ever you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump and you are also attacking the blockchain technology!
People know, some of them just can't control it, that's why it's called panic and govs are counting on that. Also not everyone can afford holding BTC, while it's dropping, even though they know it'll increase someday and they're losing the game by doing so, they need their money rn.

it's true and this is perfectly normal, panic happens because they do not want to lose more, and they sell it to buy again when the price is really under or they will come back when the price increase is seen.

Let's be honest  that most of the times panic selling comes to those who are not experienced enough so they cannot chose the right time to sell their cryptocurrencies and whenever they see the price going down they want to dump the coins. But everyone gets over that after some time.

You are right, panicked sellers can contribute to falling bitcoin prices, and for that though many negative news circulating in the media we should be more patient and confident in bitcoin, so bitcoin prices do not fall too low.

Lacking of knowledge about bitcoin is definitely the main cause. Most of the panic sellers are those to invest during the time of high price. They already loss a thousand of bucks and they might trying to cut more the losses. This is not how crypto works. Be patience at least and do some research before contributing to dumping. Now prices are getting good again, I bet those who panic sell are kinda regretful right now...

People cannot control it and therefore they panic which creates a ruckus.

I think they need to analyze the situation and be quiet and hodl to benefit. exactly people contribute more to the situation and make it worse and that's what we call panic because they know it will increase but still not able to lose their money today and more than half of investors to do so in the world which in turn causes dip price or you can say crash.

It's definitely the point I've been saying from the very beginning. Panic sales and purchases are both damaging to you and badly contributing to the future of BitCoin. People give up investing because of these negative comments.

panic is a very detrimental thing for both ourselves and for other members, and very difficult to overcome the panic in other members when there are many threads that are made about not to panic when selling tokens because it can harm other members, one person panic enough impact great that can harm thousands of others.
