I don't understand the logic in most of delists. As I see most of this tokens/coins working projects with real teams, that working on product, have normal activity and roadmap, like bitshares, trig, not the worst projects they have)

Running such centralized exchange always means costs.
So, they de-list some coins just because of low volume. Exchange cannot earn from tiny volumes.
But, I do not understand some other last de-listings like BitShares, for example.

Coin listings is a lucrative business. You charge for listing and after some months de-list coin. Next coin one please ... means next listing fee charged.

That's the way decentralized exchanges are on it's way to grow!

Bittrex just pulled out of NY.  As a NY account holder, if we have altcoins that are not easily tradeable on other exchanges, what do we do with it?  I have btc there so i could withdraw that to my hardware wallet.  But what about my other altcoins like shift or beancash?  The issue here is binance does not have them to trade.  So how could i sell them later on then if the other exchanges that trade like upbit is not reputable?

Should i just sell shift or beancash for a loss for btc and then send all the btc to my hardware wallet?  I wanted to keep those altcoins but that would mean send them to its official wallet?

Now that Bittrex has begun to lose the trust of its members, its trading volume has begun to decrease. I think a lot of factors are the cause, including perhaps the problem of transaction fees, heavy page load, the absence of the desired cryptocurrency pair.

There are lots of exchange doing this unfortunately.. not just Bittrex.. Recently i have deposited UMT (Bubbletone) coins to Exrates, the ammount was 1200 and while i was depositing the minumum deposit was only 2.. Now the exrates announced the delisting of UMT and warned us to make withdrawal. So i go to their website but i couldn't do that because minumum withdraw ammount is 14500 right now. 2 became 14500! This is not good and not fair.. Lots of exchanges stealing from us i believe..

So you mean you have 2 coins there only right but minimum to withdraw is 14500 and thus u cant withdraw it?  So anyone that has less than that in the account is screwed??

Well, it might not be right, but every company sets a standard to how they want to operate, this is why we have other companies springing up to compete with the one that already existed, I think the best thing for you to do is to message the exchange directly and tell them to reconsider the withdrawal fees for delisted coin and they might just look into it and remove it completely because of you, let's help one another in this great community.

I think so. Bittrex can decide according to their own rules as they wish and you can not judge these decisions or complain. If rules do not satisfy, do not use it, and do your research for more appropriate.

I also don't like exchanges that ask fee for withdrawing delisted coins, even if is Bittrex or another, i understand some exchange that announce they will delist some coins and have 1 month or more to withdraw that coin, but i not like when they put high fee to withdraw it.

Hi everyone.

I think it is not right that Bittrex takes comission for withdrawing delisted coins.
It feels like they are just making money on delisting and YOU lose money + pay comission to withdraw what's left.

100 SAFEX to move your safex somewhere
now its 49 FUN to move them.
Same for Bitshares and others.

Overall Bittrex actions are disgusting. You dont know wich coin will be delisted tomorrow and probably the one you hodl ofc.

Bittrex MUST MAKE DELISTED COINS WITHDRAWAL FREE OF CHARGES!
What do you think?

That is a really bad practice, but they want to make a profit from all their services, so we cannot do anything on it, the best you can do right now on your own is to subscribe to their channel and their newsletter for coins that they are going to delist, so you will not be late to sell them or withdraw them and transfer to other exchange.

bittrex is undoubtedly one of the greatest exchangers ever that has massively projected the blockchain spirit in the times of the dark ages of blockchain technology and has still kept its calm even till today with no evidence of people attempting hacks or siphoning money or even cases of scam. they regulate tokens and coins to the best of their ability and they have been best at it

Regarding to this issue I know bittrex has an answer why they put a high fees on delisted coins for the withdrawal, Bittrex is one of my favorite trading exchange site before Binance but now it losing trust by the member because of their wrong move.

other exchanges do the same like what Bittrex do when a coin was delisted but i am not an active user of Bittrex so my question is do they delist a coin that become a shitcoin or its just no trading volume for that coin on their exchange?

This is why I never hold my tokens on exchanges only those I am trading with. Exchanges are not for storing your assets there. They can delist your coins any time and charge the withdrawal, as they are doing and you can do nothing against it.

Any transaction costs. If you want to keep coins on an exchange and not in your wallet just sell them for Bitcoin.  But I really dont see the point why you want to have coins there and not where you have full control of them.

I was quite worried about removing the coin on the exchanger even though without being removed, I thought it would not hurt to leave it on the exchanger.
or maybe they just want to help us by telling us that the coin is no longer feasible? that is possible and if that is the purpose then I agree with Bittrex's actions
