For me bitcoin investment is also called as a gambling, you should gamble with your own risk but bitcoin is a potential investment and a sure win if you know how to deal with it, that's why for every bitcoin investor should do a research first before doing anything.

Well I think only fool will do investing on things that they really never know or maybe no person would invest without any assurance at all because investing really need a capital and it really involved a huge amount of money that is why we really need to be sure on it to avoid losses in the near future.

Because there are so many new investors investing in it in the hope of making a big profit. But actually that is not investing that is gambling.  I do not prevent you investing to make money but invest wisely. Especially do not put all the property into bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Hope people do not blindly participate in this gamble.  I agree to what you said, most of the consumers today are just investing immediately without any knowledge about the situation in the market. Newbies are losing a lot of profit because they panic selling their coins when the market is dumping so always try to look at the situation before investing in order not to lose your profit. |

I too is guilty of this. I jumped/invested in Bitcoin HYIP without even doing due diligence on it. But I learned my lesson. We need to be certain before investment especially with bitcoin there are a lot of scams there. Bitcoin by nature is highly risky.

Most of the people have the tendency to go with the trend. Bitcoin investment might indeed give big profits. However, investors should do research before they put up a big amount of money. The more an investor does the research if he/she is new to cryptocurrency and Being compulsive is not a strategic move in investment. Studying all details of the company you are investing is a must to minimize risk. Likewise, an investor must assess his/her risk tolerance because generally, the bigger amount, the higher risk of investment but the higher the potential return. |

This is true. I myself researched how things work and the background history of Bitcoin. I was reluctant at first but when my sister showed me results, I wasted no time to join and venture bitcoin. At first, it is a bit confusing but once you understand how things work, it will be as easy as reading a book...

I think that at least the basics should be known when somebody wants to invest in bitcoin. For example that bitcoin is not backed up by a government or central bank, or that transactions are not reversible. From a technical point of view somebody should be able to handle a transaction. But in general, if somebody wants to put his money in a business that he does not understand, that might be not a very clever decision, but hey, it's a free world.

As in the thread, there are lot of people who invest into bitcoin just on the expectation to make a bigger profit. In reality it is good to analyze and know about it and invest. I have known to some extent about bitcoin and if I were unaware I would have never invested into it, other than getting suggestions from a trusted person.
