I suspect they'll open up deposits once it's price falls to around what the other exchanges are at (and/or the other move up closer to Yobit).

Mining this is far better than mining BTC at the moment if you have hardware less powereful than say S7 its worth running it on LCC chain..
Say you have S3 or S4 kicking about.. Mining LCC is the better option.  + the every block diff adjustment is a good feature and quick block times.

How did you come to this conclusion, please tell me???
With 36Ths I mine approx 31usd value of BTC per day (18usd profit + 13 usd electricity), and with the same power I mine approx 30lcc per day. That is roughly 18usd with average price that is 0.6usd on Tradesatoshi. So when you deduct electricity costs you get 5usd per day.

Been there done that, but went back to BTC after few days.

So please give me your numbers so I can go back to mining LCC  haha

Or your calculation is based on Yobit prices  Grin

I said old hardware that is almost useless at btc.. S3 per day BTC  just under $1 per day @ 500gh/s..

S9 on ebay 3k....
S9 Bitmain $2330 + 105 PSU - $2435

S9 14TH
Mined/month
Ƀ 0.03512 - $363.20   ROI 7 Months! (assuming the diff stays the same)  This is not factor electricity or DIFF..

LCC is early stages you can't expect Moon right away.. or then again stick to BTC no one if forcing you.

Your also thinking of the now not the future Smiley

I just completed lcc synchronisation. I have 1000 lcc less then I should have. The history shows that just before the hf 1000lcc were send to another wallet (not mine). I didn’t made that or any other transaction on my LTC core wallet, so it is a false transaction. How is it possible? I double checked it on my ltc wallet, where no similar transaction is done.

It's really weird because if someone had authorized access to your wallet that someone wouldn't only have transferred half but all of your coins. So highly unlikely that was happening, probably a different (hopefully solvable) problem.
Most likely a change address.

Maybe but isn't it quite unlikely that exactly half would be send from / to a change address (given it was exactly half)?

Old or new hardware it is still better to mine btc, after mining BTC than you should exchange for lcc. Profit is x4 if you mine btc and exchange to lcc.
Your logic doesn't make any sense, if it will moon?? This way you can mine Myriad or Crown, you will mine them also with a loss... Same with LCC...
If there were slight difference like between BTC and BCC I would say go for it but x4 difference, man...

They were asked on Twitter, "Why you dont list on big exchanges?"
They answered, "We are working on it, but that takes time. Remember that the project is just few weeks old."

When majority will have done with selling on small exchanges at about no price then real action will start. I think listing on couple of big exchanges will explode the price though purpose of the creation of this coin is pump and dump style making money. I still think it will stay here and will not die this quick as many people are expecting to happen.

Is there a reason for you saying this? Just wondering if you know anything about this project that will give it long term value.

Just an observation about current price....high power mining pools can mine LCC @ 0.15 USD per LCC.  This should set the near term bottom--dont think they will mine at loss.  Recent support point of about 0.47 was broken by 1 seller of 34000 LCC at market rate that wiped out all buy orders from 0.38 to 0.5

The following are needed to build price:. the foundation needs to roll out a partnership or unique utility, the miner pool needs to become large enough that 2 miners don't dominate, the yobit situation needs a better answer (very negative overtones), need large speculative buyers who may appear at 0.15.

Unfortunately, the Charlie Lee scam comments have impact with no rebuttal.  This guy seems to say negative things about every other coin and he himself was accused  of scamming in LTC.  I don't quite understand his logic as his coin is in the pool of coins that copied Bitcoin model. yes, LTC has different and useful specifics, but concept wise, LTC is not different than LCc.

With regard to various comments about listings on a large exchange, logically that would not happen until a good performance baseline is made.   If you are running an exchange, would you list a coin that shows weak demand and went from 8 on yobit (closed fishy exchange) to 0.3 in 1 week (when traded on open exchanges).

The dev's were pretty present here the first days. Very quiet now suddenly. Anybody heard something from them lately? Or is this dying here just like LCC itself?

Thanks for sharing, some really interesting points. Although Charlie Lee didn't use 'bit' when he named Litecoin, otherwise it would be called bitcoinlite. Is he the only forker that hasn't used the original name and added a bit to make it sound different?

Now we all knew this is a pump and dump coin I don't know if this coin still has a future, but wait all the other bitcoin fork has a dump season, let's see what will the scenario be after a month or two I hate to see this going to 10 cents, I'm still holding my airdrop here.

This needs more analysis.   What did the foundation do?  Did the receiving accounts further disperse?  I presume team each got a dispersement for work.  I doubt they could have dumped that much into the market without price dropping more than already realized.  If LCC team did sell, the question is did they use proceeds to further development LCC.   I suggest you follow the trail one step further.  My speculation is that the team focused on development with inadequate business plan and woefully poor public presence given all the concern.  Apprarentl, Tanner et Al like anonymity. ok

The coins were mixed. Dumping is impossible at that volume right now due to yobbit keeping it's doors closed and no, not even the devs knew they would be seemingly uncooperative about the whole thing.
Think about it... The amount they stand to gain by having this project alive and well in a year from now is immeasurable. If it was a quick cash grab, the methods been used here are all wrong.

I've done my research into the project and I've decided to put my name, face and what little rep I have to it.

So much so, I'm just waiting on the code as I have a body modder ready to install my NFC subdermal chip.

I'm also in the process of helping out a BTC ATM company with machines already running as he wants to upgrade to NFC and is interested in my LCC NFC Subdermal Wallet.

Oh and someone did us a press release...

On the surface for sure. I'd agree. I thought the same. After talking with the devs and a few weeks of a public team forming, things actual feel very real.

The idea of bringing life back to old SHA gear is a really cool experiment and I for one am pretty excited to see how this all pans out as well.
