As seen on BTCJam - https://btcjam.com/listings/6711:

gektek Radio is my company. Based out of Rochester, Washington. Currently working toward a Karaoke/DJ for hire business. I am requesting a loan in order to purchase new sound equipment to make my company really 'pop' Cheesy

I have run my business in one form or another for the last 10+ years. Starting out as web-raver.net I originally sold glowsticks and other party related items at local raves in the Bay Area (San Francisco, California). That company grew to the point where it became DigiRaver.com and also included photography gallaries of the local rave scene.

Both websites lived their life cycles and are no more. Today I run the 'new' grown up version, gektek.info, also known as gektek Radio. I broadcast over the internet via the Live365.com service some of the greatest Hard Dance, Techno, Dubstep, and more.

Since meeting my better half we have expanded the online broadcasting to local Karaoke up here in the Pacific Northwest. Right now we would like to expand our business and pump up the sound a bit. Our current setup is literally my Logitech home stereo system which does sound EXTREMELY crisp and clean but just can't get as loud as we need. And so...

I would like to ask for your assistance. In order to compete in todays market we need a bit of an upgrade to our sound. To accomplish this I would like to purchase a PA Speaker system from our local Guitar Center. Prices for 'kits' range from $399 to $699 and up so even if this loan only funds to 70% I will still be able to purchase at least something so every mBTC really helps Tongue

If any one person is interested in fully funding this loan I do have a travel trailer that is worth roughly $1000 that I would be willing to put up as collateral. Please contact me if interested.

Extra verification/contact/information links:

Any questions? Comments? Otherwise? Just let me know! Thanks for looking! Cheesy

The randomly mixed cases in the title does not look professional. If you want people to take you seriously, please change it to the normal case usage.

for the lulz.

Anyways, your collateral for a $900 USD loan is a trailer??  How are you going to get that to us??

and geez, I would never invest, sorry.  6 BTC @2.5% for half a year...  I could earn more mining with my laptop.  Ok, maybe not, but it's not worth it at all.

Vod, check his reg date again. He's a 2012, not a 2013. Domain he listed has been around for at least a year too.

Now that's not to say he won't run off with the coins, but he's not just another brand new account with a domain registered yday, asking for a loan Smiley

My suspicions are based on his four reputation loans - starting at 0.25 up to 1.32btc.  Loans that were taken for no real reason (some paid back same day) other than to allow him to borrow even more btc next time.    He doesn't even take it seriously - thinks it's a game (thanks for playing).  Red flag.

Beware of double-dipping: this loan is for 6 months, so it will take 6 months to label him a scammer. During that time, he may take other loans or money in order to maximize the amount he can run off with.

Or he may pay it back. See you in 6 months.

Ah, ok. You did more research into it than I did. Now that you mention it though, the ramping up of loan requests is definitely a red-flag.
