I don't think it is really possible to stop ICO scam. I think we should be focusing on the other side. May be some regulations and licensing is not so bad in the end of the day.
I think the same. Some regulation and responsibility will be good for this market.

You cannot stop ico scam in that way even if they will send your token right after you send your eth on their contract address we should be the one who research if the ico is legit

it is very difficult to stop the scam ICO, but may be minimized with the ICO regulation. With regulation, the developer team and the project are required to take care of licensing to the relevant agencies in accordance with the rules, such as ICO DeHedge (as seen in my signature), DeHedge has passed Regulation D (RegD) permissions in United States. with this permission, will increase the trustworthiness of an ICO.

There are several ways to stop ICO scam. One is to install internet security software to your devices. The other way to is to secure the passwords and important data by keeping them in a safe place where no other pople can find them.

Stop investing to them.
Wow! yes, if we all go that way surely ICO's are getting nothing. But this is an investment mate, still we need to gamble our time and money to them for making profits. Maybe we are all aware about scam and yet, it's our instinct to determine if a certain ICO is legit or not then decide to invest.

Scammers are not directly noted on this business, they are people really involves on this particular business, with high knowledge on how to access and enter different transactions, we can only noticed that those people are scammers when they don't provide on what they promise on the transactions being made.

We cannot feasibly say we could stop bogus ICOs from scamming unsuspecting investors. What we could do is be careful in investing to not be victimized by these shams of a company. The best way is by conducting researches and earn knowledge for yourself on how to track this fake ICOs so you could cross them out on your checklist.

Let ICO holders automatically send coins to your Ethereum wallet just after receiving your Ethereum
Just like, betrium.co is doing.
KYC is really useless for crypto currency traders.
I think that was a bet deficult to recognice on which campaign ICO is scam because there are some scammers make a good website even team and some good announcement just like myriads campaign they are scammer.

there use to be a lot of ICOs that suggests escrows, its very common back 2015 to have escrows but i guess there were no issues having non these days. having some good people in the team and advisors including those popular personalities are already acceptable these days. i guess we stop doing that already though buying and selling stuff here still needs escrows.

an easy way to stop the scam ICO is not easy because it will almost always be there every day. need to do the right research and wise choice so as not to be fooled by their promise. most importantly try to eliminate the risks.

I understand that you suggest, in order to avoid fraud from the ICO team, that they list tokens to signatory campaign participants immediately after they joined the ICO campaign and provided their wallet addresses? Then the participants in the signature campaign will cheat. What will prevent them from leaving the ICO campaign immediately after receiving the tokens, and failing to fulfill their obligations? No, this option is not suitable, it is also not ideal. In my opinion, all the same, it is necessary to regulate the ICO by state bodies or a recognized public organization.

Only for checking credibility and reputation through social medias and especially Telegram channels of course. Good ICOs have many active members on their social communities. So, u could tell the difference, scam ICOs have no good social communities...

I think KYC is a way to prove where the investment is coming from, but quite a few investors are willing to provide personal data to ICO developers.

Only thing that can stop these ICO scams is a regulation which is impossible because most of the people using cryptocurrencies want decentralization in our system,if there will be regulation its like becoming a centralized offering which isnt healthy in our decentralized market, either way you can have a lot of time to do some research if you are really into this ICO investment

Now have many scam ICOs send their coins after you invest making you not worry that they are not scam but in the end their coins does not have value. scammer today are knowledgeable and educated and they do everything just to scam others. the best way to avoid ICO scam is to research every detail you can gather and ask others about their opinion and research too

This means users will not be reimbursed if something were to go wrong. So, to at least to minimize the chance of getting scammed we should thoroughly give ourselves a time to take a deep research. There is lots of people doing scamming professionally neither KYC or sending directly to ethereum address doesn’t dolve proble but there is lots of ico managing platforms like kickico or comsa still some new projects

Yes by sending the coins in the wallet is one way to stop the ICO if scam. But I think it is not the best answer for impossible to notice sometimes if one project is scam unless you found out everything whether scam or not scam. To stop ICO if scam is to stop the campaigns. I think this is the best way to do.
