We don't speak the same language, we don't eat the same things, we don't even drive on the same side of the road... How on earth would the whole agree on 1 common currency?

Not to mention that there are powers that thrive on conflicts and actively antagonize various groups within communities, nations and worldwide.

The problem is that people here think too far ahead. Real scenario is that Bitcoin can be used as a global currency at any time if people so wish already, so there is no need to wait for authorities and whatnot to stand up.

We just have to accept that Bitcoin will probably remain just an alternative, which I am perfectly happy with. While people are discussing unnecessary matters, I focus on what I can do with Bitcoin right now.

Fiat or global currency doesn't play a role of importance in that regard. Action is what makes people move forward, not endless nonsense discussions about what happens in this or that scenario. Bitcoin is here and ready to be used.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

I think we've gone too far with some countries thinking they are better than other countries because of their wealth, before we can all unite on a financial front we need to eliminate many of the things that keep us apart, for example how can we have so many people starving and dying in parts of the world while the rest of the world sits by and allows it to happen.

I know it's exciting to see someone put a Tesla into space but if we could give every human an equal footing wouldn't that be more exciting?

As basic as this example is, it is just one of the things that need to be sorted out before we can unite globally.

Although, maybe if everyone did operate with one currency then we could help these countries out as there would no longer be pressure on those countries with more wealth to put more into these situations as we would all be on the same level.

Who knows, but for us to work on anything at a global level there needs to be drastic changes to the way we operate and think, perhaps bitcoin and cryptocurrency is the start of this.
In our time to make one currency world is quite challenging knowing the fact that there are nation who wants dominance to other nation that is why their currency should be recognizes  and they don’t want the world has only one currency. That is why some nation againts bitcoin because it has no boundaries  .

If the world uses a single currency, will the economy be more stable?
This is a very interesting question. The sovereign nations issue their own currencies and are taken for granted by many people, but few consider whether this is the economically optimal option.
I very much doubt that there will ever be such a currency. The dollar can be called a currency that is used and adopted in many countries, but still not in all. I do not think that many countries are interested in this.

This is a good idea since we are just in one world but we are different opinion with this. In every countries we have different politicians and I don't think they will also agree with this, this will be a big adjustment to everyone if this happens. This is also good to unite countries but I think it is also impossible to happen.

The reunification of the currency is certainly good, but this is hard to come by because it means that all countries on earth have an alliance or just one country left, just like the EU. The former approach is basically impossible because countries have different views Different habits, and then one, for the time being, every nation has such abilities.
and this will only favor the smallest country, because in this case all country will stand as one,and will treat as one.and this is impossible to passed by the biggest countries in the world.like EU,USA, and many other countries that has good economy.

I don't think we need a single currency. I think we need a "GLOBAL" currency: this means a currency that us useful and accesible to the global village. It can coexist with home currencies but it makes exchange, payments, travelling... etc. easier.

Its been a big adjustment in the world .People has a different opinions of this kind of currency, every steps that made its hard to achieve .If world uses a single currency then a brighter economy in the world. Some people are not quite interesting but for sure if it will happen that have a unite its a big impact to everyone and for the people sake .Regarding this it will probably a big help for people Who are less fortunate or jobless in the community. If we think positive thoughts about this regards surely a great contribution of our economy and future for people in the world.

I don't think this idea is possible. Single currency worldwide used is not happening. In my opinion currency represents a certain country. If we only used one currency it maybe a big trouble and many country will recommend their own currency.

Maybe not a single currency that will be use by every people, because currency of every country are already established. but there should be a single currency for a global payments of import and export of goods, thus BTC is applicable for these kind of payments.

If the world uses a single currency. Well maybe its impossible that the world have a single currency. Fisrt of all we have different currencies because to know whats the money of its country. To represent their own country using currencies or money. Then second there are different values of each currencies of every country. Different worths. For example, we visited a different country and our money is in our country. We need to exchange our money to the money their using in their country. Thats because rypes of money or currencies repsresents different countries.

Making a single currency used across the world is a dream that might not see the light ever , and people that seek to be citizens of the world will only be able to be that person if they get something such as a global currency , and i think that cryptocurrencies ( not specifically bitcoin ) can make that dream come true .

I do not see the possibility. Difference in backgrounds in every ramifications, from religion, culture, politics, language, sociocultural practice, etc. If we were to have fiat as unifying currency, what designs , language would be inscribed on  it?

Yes for me I dont see it will come that world may use as single currency. Means we have different currencies as is ever since each country has use its own. It will not happen to use one only because every country has their own rules and values.

I believe the world economy would become stagnant if there is only one currency in being used by the whole world, it would always be better for the consumers to have more choices to choose rather than having only one choice, it would totally become a monopoly market that can be easily manipulated by people with lots of powers if there is only one currency that can be used in the market.

I like your point.  Yes we like doing different things and that distincts each country.  Also having differrent currency is the priveledge of each country.  It is where it can represent the customs, traditions, heroes, and even landmarks.  No one will agree on using single currency.

then if the whole world using a single currency then economic growth will be the same gan and also we are easier if you want to travel to other countries, because we do not need to bother to exchange the currency of our country with the countries we visit karean all countries have eyes the same money.

In the history of modern economy today. The idea of a single currency has actually been voiced by academics, politicians and also by the Chinese government in the grand meeting of the G-20 in London, but this idea doesn't get a positive response that eventually can't be realized.

This is a very interesting question. The sovereign nations issue their own currencies and are taken for granted by many people, but few consider whether this is the economically optimal option.

If world is using single than world will be having trade loc same as having European union, whole Europe has single currency Euro.
But right now we can't imagine decentralize currency as world currency.
let's suppose if world have single currency than  how countries control inflation rate inside the country.
