Bro, your English is not that good, and admittedly I haven't looked at the rest of your posts, but I do think you might be overestimating your abilities (like a lot of people do).  

And remember, it's not supposed to be easy to earn merit points.   If it was, the whole system would have no reason to exist.   Get better with your grammar, write stuff that's interesting, know that quantity doesn't equal quality, and you'll earn merits eventually.

its better to do a job and crypto. i too faced serious situation about this. i got a job offer in Maldives islands. i was planning to reject that offer due to bitcoin trading, but my friends and families said that do not reject that foreign job. at last i realized that uncertainty of Crypto world. then i already moved to maldives. but in here i do both thats make me happy. but i earn more than job from Crypto currency. but when extremely deep time comes our investment goes deep so much. at that time we emotional get upset if we do not have stable job. so i highly recommended to do both job and crypto.

Most icos are really fake today. but i personally researched on that so still i not caught by any scam. i done lot research before investing on ico's. i have sucessfully with WABI,POWER LEDGER, NAGAA, etc. newly i invested on bluzelle , wepower sure those will bring best ROI.

Mostly everyone is using that term to those threads with 25 or more pages containing more shitposts than valid replies.
You might want to know what a typical shitpost is, those are the replies that was just solely based in the OP or the title without even reading the previous replies, making SPMT repetitive.

2. What would be the solution to all SPMT´s? Is that not locking them, or deleting them? Thus deleting the post history and every activity and merit earned by that SPMT´s.

Those can be a solution but opening a new spam thread using an alt is too easy, but still, spammers might stop posting a reply if threads like those are constantly deleted.

Re-evaluate yourself and check if you have done and post a merit worthy one. Merit system is about making quality posts so if you're not into that, then do whatever you just said, i only got "move away" so "move away". No one's stopping you, with you gone and other shit posters, bitcointalk would be great again.

The system is just new as we all know. People can give any thoughts about its advantages and disadvantages and I think the admins here are seeing all about our reactions towards it. The only thing we can do is to wait for further updates because everything has room for improvement including this system.

What's important is that this system has raised awareness to everyone here in forum in making quality and helpful posts. It will definitely lessen the nonsensical or spam posts being made and will help the forum to be more productive in giving information and knowledge about every topics.

We don't need to beg for merits just because we have made quality posts. What's important is that everyone is going to be mindful now of what they post.

When everyone have adapted now in the new system, eventually receiving or giving merits for a deserving post might not be too hard because everyone have managed to evolved their old style of posting into quality and informative post.

I agree we dont want to please for merit we have to wait at the right time,everyone of us must have to be patience especialy tne new members of this forum,.

Recently several of them got deleted, which leaded to many topics like: Disappearing posts. Deleting posts doesn't remove Merit, but it's very unlikely to get them for Spam Megathreads anyway.

Deleting threads has a downside: the spam continues somewhere else. I'd rather have them stay in Off-topic than move to Bitcoin Technical Discussion for example.

That is the problem even though you know you posted a good quality post someone will not give a merit . Merit system prevent spamming ang low quality post but how about like you who does not gain any merit even you done posting a quality one . Just improve everyday maybe others dont see your post as good as you know .

But this merit system is supposed to stop or at least make posting in those sorts of threads worthless. People only used to post in the 'spam megathreads' because they could easily rank up by doing so. Now posting in them is pretty much futile because it will get them nowhere without merit and nobody is going to give merit out to the half-assed one liners that get posted in them.

Some do get locked or trashed but you would need several full time members of staff just to police the shit threads alone. Hopefully they will gradually decrease once people learn about the merit system which will force them to only make worthwhile contributions.

True. I've noticed most of posts that lower ranks make is similar to this example:

You're in the argument where people are talking about how good some car is and you jump in with the reply similar to "I like that car. It allows you to drive around", and that's completely unneeded reply since that car was expected to be able to drive you around and that example is something that I've first thought of when I was reading low rank member posts.

yeah, I must agree with you. You know what when I first heard about the Merit System, I am slightly disappointed since I am just a newbie when Merit was introduced. But later on, after some study and analization, I have found out that  this Merit system has a big help on the forum. Everyone now is creating a quality and informative post to rank up.

Is it because for ranking up? For sign. campaigns? I mean the forum itself is almost losing its primary purpose which is for discussing everything regarding bitcoin, not your money maker.html.

The admin has mentioned in a comment that next step might be stopping all the signature campaigns here. If that ever gets implemented, I think all these complains regarding merit points will fade away.
