Coin's which are in ICO stage is NO for me since I can't really tell if they are good and I can't even trust them up if they will pump after they realese the token since their's so many factor that we need to consider and one of that is bounty dumping. That's why I prefer to shop on bounty hunter dumping stage since I can accumulate more tokens at the cheapest price and earn with good returns when it pumps.

I should say that small caps has a lot of potential. If you need quick buck, probably HST or CAG could be a good choices. However, in long term I trust privacy coins (ZCash, Zcoin etc.) all of them will grow. I like BitShares as well. Very strong community, scalable blockchain. It is not only a platform you can build on, it is a self-governed and self-evolving digital world. Politicians and bureaucracy will be changed by smart contracts or a line of code, to be exact.

I would not rely on Ripple right now. Although this is not the best time to enter the market of crypto, you should better deal with smaller altcoins and keep them for a very short time to sell after. Fargocoin is not bad, for instance.

Buying the smaller altcoins is outright suicidal, especially during the current market conditions. Even established alts such as Monero are dropping quite heavily, with up to 80% declines.  If you invest in the smaller coins, then there is a chance that you may lose all your capital.
