Probiwon takes a bigger cut, but at least you get near instant gratification.

I just looked up the exact random number generating bit is pulled from:

https://www.random.org/integers/?num=1&min=1&max=100&col=1&base=10&format=plain&rnd=new

Hope this answers your question.  Huh

Of course. If it wouldn't, i would say something.

confirming for over an hour fffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

We've noticed the bitcoin network was really slow in confirming transactions yesterday.

It might be handy to add a 0.01 bitcoin transaction fee if you're playing for over say 50 btc / bet. Most transactions in the bitcoin system that have 0.01 cent fee added fly through and generally make it into the next block. If you do not specify a transaction fee, bitcoin transfers take between 1 min to well up over an hour as we've noticed yesterday.  Sad

Yes, I have noticed that too. I played a lot yesterday on probiwon and it took a LONG time for the transactions to become confirmed.

What are the betting limits?
Any bet from 0.01 is accepted.

I don't understand how you can run this without having a maximum bet size.

Let's say there are 6 million BTC in circulation, I own 5 million of them and decide to throw them all into Double Trouble... You can't pay me 10 million BTC if I win.

Crazy example I know, but you still should set a maximum.

e.g. If I bet 10,000 and win, can you afford to pay me the 20,000?

You might read this http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3862.msg54956
If it's really working the way some one there described it might, you simply won't win with such big bets.

Hey MoneyTree,

I love Double Trouble and have been playing it quite a bit but the site seems to sometimes be plagued with FastCGI errors. It's usually not a problem until you run into an issue like I just had where I tried to play my 5 BTC, and the page gave a "FastCGI Error". I refreshed the page, hoping that would fix the problem, and after a minute of loading it said "One Pay Per Play Please!!" So I'm a little concerned as to whether the bet actually got played or whether it ended up in nothing-land considering the page could have error'd before it got to the actual playing part.

Thanks,
lulzplzkthx

I tried to test this with a 0.05 BTC bet.

The third "auto refresh" froze the site.

I have no idea if I won or not.... awesome.  Undecided

Just did it a second time with 0.1, and it froze at the same time.

What's going on here?

P.S. Both of these use a 0.01 trans. fee.
