There are no excuses for any 1st World Countries to ban BTC or make it illegal.
Only a matter of time before the world starts recognizing BTC as legal tender.
The countries than ban crypto are still living in the stone age and need to finally adopt to society and its norms.
Digital money is the future - doesnt matter what part of the world you live in.

I don't think Lebanon,India,Nigeria and Croatia is legitimacy countries for Bitcoin. A lot of problems and creating many pressures to banned Bitcoin from government and also banking sectors.
The decision for this one are still pending and I think they are still studying the system. There's a many reason for them to ban bitcoin and we cannot stop them but for sure they will not make decision without supporting research. As far as I know, many countries are now adopting cryptocurrency its either legal or not but people are free to use cryptocurrency as long as they know the risk.

With this data i guess we will be waiting for the legitimacy here in Philippines, though we are clearly allowed to do whatever we want.with just an advice from the government to invest in our own risk

Depends on how country adopted or accept bitcoin. Not all of country understands and accept digital currency.
This is what happens when a poster don’t spend a minute reading the OP.lol
Philippines government authorities never thinks for bitcoin's negative impact to the society or in the economic threat instead they just support for these. Just like the other country, people are making this crypto for good and not using it for some acts of illegalities.

Bitcoin in the Philippines is legal but they didn't recognize it to their countrymen because the government of the Philippines still afraid of the negative impact that cause of it,that's why many Filipino's still don't know about Bitcoin and some of them know's about it but they are scared to do it because of the abusive people that is using Bitcoin's name to scam investors.

Exactly, some countries are majorly bothering one thing if they start legalising bitcoin many people start using the Bitcoin and defenitely it will effect their local currency which it makes them to decrease their value in the market.

So far I know still little country have allowed for using bitcoin as legal transaction, like united state, Japan and Russia. Many country have not allowed for using bitcoin as payment transaction and India have banned bitcoin.

I think that sooner or later, Bitcoin will become legal in almost all countries. At the moment, some countries have banned bitcoin just because they don't understand it and are afraid of the consequences that may be after that.
They understand it, I think the government will not be that stupid by making a ban without clear calculations and analysis, the point is the government wants a win-win solution, not detrimental to the government side, the government just hasn't found a way to do it
Exactly, they wanted to make sure that in each decision to make they will gain, some countries doesn't like independicity, they will do everything in their power to make sure that they have a winning position, they are not new to this as bitcoin already a talk around the mass media's but still they are not
allowing such new payment system without their controls.

We can't easily change their minds, but demands will surely pressure them after more adoptions coming from different countries will be implemented.
I think so, when their society presses the government to legalize bitcoin, the government will not be able to do anything.
and I'm sure that will happen in the future because every year the user growth always goes up

If they are not crypto friendly countries then why India implemented a separate group to research about the crypto currencies and their taxation possibilities. So in India or African countries still bitcoin are allowed to use but there is no regulations yet just use it as you want.
You're right mate. In Africa, almost all the countries maintains a neutral stands about cryptocurrencies. It is one of the good continents cryptocurrency experts, miners, merchants and developers can  capitalize, gain roots and build more offices for crypto related operations. Sooner or later, several countries across the globe will begin to legalize crypto just as India has started.

Only a small number of countries reject bitcoin, this is not a big problem.
some countries have no interest because they do not know the progress of blockchain technology.
even though this is a valuable discovery.

until now there are still many countries that have not legalized bitcoin, because sometimes the views of each person or country are certainly different. so we can't guess every country. so all that is not easy to happen.

yes until now there are still many countries that have not legalized bitcoin fully. the problem is the current condition of bitcoin is certainly different from the condition of the former bitcoin. so sometimes every country must be aware of the current bitcoin conditions.

Of the many countries in the world, only a small percentage prohibit the use of Bitcoin. So it's clear that Bitcoin has great power and many countries support Bitcoin. So I'm sure Bitcoin will grow well and finally Bitcoin will become a national currency that is recognized by all countries.
Does that mean bitcoin has changed its own system from a decentralized system to centralized system?

Although these thing will never happen because bitcoin is a technology that cannot be regulated by any party, I just deplore what you have said and what you want. I prefer with bitcoin to be used as an alternative payment system which is only done by everyone in certain circumstances, for example to buy goods in the form of online. In this case the government will not ask for a lot of laden for everyone who uses bitcoin, they only need to be a superintendence to the circulation of bitcoin in every country to maintain economic stability.

The United States has one of the best approaches as how to treat Bitcoin from a tax perspective. The government simply views the coins as property and you pay a capital gains tax (unless you live in Puerto Rico) when you sell them. You can still get jail time if you sell them in bulk as an unregulated money exchanger but most people wouldn't fall into that category.

More countries should take this simplistic view on how to tax/regulate Bitcoin and stop thinking of it as a currency.

 Grin
What is that? I think that considering bitcoin as an asset and starting to apply taxes to the owner is indeed a very good choice for a country, but in reality the owners don't want it, because basically bitcoin is money, so it must be used as a payment tool rather than storing media, if only categorized as assets, the function of bitcoin as a currency will disappear, and the era of the currency revolution will stop, and the world will remain controlled by the dollar as an international currency, and this is a monopoly currency system.
I agree with both of you guys. The country will embrace bitcoin, will have nothing against and will even support it if they tax it. Everything is good as long as they have an insight on things, in this case bitcoin transactions, number of owners, pretty much everything about it.
On the other side, its function as a currency as ningrumxxi said will disappear, so as the revolution, but I highly doubt that it can be different on any other way. As you said, current monopoly currency system will remain for now, developers and creators of it are so strong and surely are not willing to let it go.

I want to know you get the source information from the beginning? I think your information is inaccurate !

You have a point, the op need to acknowledge the source where he gets this information to convince people that his statement is true and reliable and we can use for any purpose.

before we have to give information about any news we need to examine it first. because every news we give requires our responsibility correctly. so if we get unclear information, it is better if we need to examine it. because the news that was delivered was not just one person who read but many people read it.

Bitcoin is legal in my country, but you cannot use it as a payment currency legally to buy something here.
In my country, i only able to use bitcoin to trading or investing on a cryptocurrency project.
Despite of that limit, i can gain a good profit with a good strategy when trading or investing.

According to my understanding no country has strictly banned bitcoin with any kind of low but there are some countries like India, Sri Lanka who have gone to extreme extends using media and other sources to avoid there citizens from using bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency because they believe it will make bad effect to there economical system and some has an open mind regarding bitcoin like Japan and Switzerland and the number keeps increasing in the world because now many understands benefits they can gain by using cryptocurrencies

Well, as you can see, the list of countries is mostly not the most developed countries. Except, perhaps, China. But this country can not be called free.

Trends suggest that developed countries such as Sweden, the USA, Germany, Australia and many others only encourage the development of the field of cryptocurrencies.

Other countries in this article, on the contrary, hamper the development of the segment. By the way, Iceland was recently on this list. But in 2017, the government fully restored the rights of traders, repealing all restrictive laws.

Therefore, there are no prerequisites for banning Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies all over the world. On the contrary, everything suggests that new money will slowly integrate with the mainstream economic system, which will allow a smooth transition into a new world, where coins will also be used along with fiat.

Illegality is caused by fears that it will affect everything that applies in their country, but I believe they are unable to monitor bitcoin users because of too free internet use. But there are indeed things that cannot develop in this country such as public discussions and the development of tiered education regarding crypto assets.
