after this major price correction. i want to see what are your ideas on this. lets say you bought bitcoin 2 years ago. you notice prices were high at 19,000$ should u sell or continue to hold? what are your thoughts after this huge correction?
it is probably too late to sell after holding since the 19000$ correction.
It's better you keep hold of bitcoin and wait for the price to go back up, do not sell when the price is low because of the losses you get.

You need watch the trend of crypto currency, hold tight, dont sell in cheaper or low price then you buy and high, you definitely loss your investment. If you can hold until 4th quarter of this year,, this quarter is increasing the value of many crypto currency.
It actually depends on how much you bought your bitcoin, and how much it has changed its value over time. If you bought one when the price was low, then there is no better way but to hold it until the its price becomes high again. If you bought one, and it's price suddenly goes down, then do not panic and sell, but keep on holding, still. What will happen if you don't do this is you'll only have losses, which is obviously bad. Remember to just hold for a long time, if you must, and wait for the bitcoin's price to rise before selling.

For day traders, it would be buy[low], sell[high]. Those panicking traders or newbies who came lately to bitcoin will do with what the title says of buying high and selling low. I've seen a lot of funny memes that are directly striking those newbies who bought at the peak but its not helping them to be encouraged with their trades but others are making fun of it. If you truly believe with the technology behind bitcoin and crypto is the future financing you better hold them while you can.

Well if the bitcoin comes from 19000$, i should sell it now because that price is so expensive and it is worth.

I think holding is the right decision rather than buying a high price and selling it cheaply. Because if you buy a high price and sell at a low price then the loss is obvious but if still holding still there is a possibility the selling price will be much higher than the previous purchase price. People feel the same fear if they hold back because the price keeps going down and what's on the mind in the head is the more losses. But this is where our luck is at stake.

For me must better to buy some low value of the coins and then hold it until the coins you buy in a low value will going to be a high value. But must better to choose a coins it have a chance to increase a value.

It's better you keep hold of bitcoin and wait for the price to go back up, do not sell when the price is low because of the losses you get. When you buy with high price and you think that the price when you are about to sell is not profitable because the price has decrease better to hold to cut your losses. Holding bitcoin is more advisable and trade some alternate coins that has high value in the market when you actually need money.

If I am on this situation, I will buy more stocks. Because I believe that bitcoin in next two years will hit or reach more than 19k. And that's the time to sell my bitcoin. In that way, I able to earn multiple profits which is very good help for my future.

When I have enough capital, I think it's good to hold the coins we already have, and buy back altcoins that have the potential to develop the capital we have. But if all our money has been invested in one coin and the value of the coin has decreased in value, it's good that you sell it and then transfer to another more potential coin to recover your first capital. Even if it's true your capital will come back if you hold it. But it takes a lot of patience.

Patience sir we all know that those who buy bitcoin last year at the price of 19k is in deep trouble but you still didn't lose anything but if you sell now with the value of bitcoin low then you'll really lose a lot sell low is an absurd thing to do just have some patience so that you can make the right decisions.

If you buy bitcoin now I think you must hold it and wait for the right price for you. Because when time came that bitcoin will became stable everyone who own bitcoin now are very happy. Just wait the right time and sell your bitcoin.

It's your decision because you lost your chance of not selling at $ 19,000. But do not worry too much about it, it can still achieve milestones it has made before, hold and wait for your next opportunity.

IMO, For anyone who is planning to become a trader or is already indulged in this business, it is best for him to buy low and sell high because this is the basic principle of trading world. But for all other holders, selling out even when they have the opportunity to earn extra 10k dollars per bitcoin won’t be recommended by me. They should hold this digital coin for at least coming two years. That is the way to become a millionaire with the help of bitcoin.

I will sell bitcoin at the highest price, and buy again if the price fall like what happen last week and then i will hold it again and wait for the another pump, but its really hard to know when is the best time to sell bitcoin at the highest price. For me as long as i know that i get profit that's enough for me to sell bitcoin. Getting some profits is not enough to sell your bitcoin, you can only sell when you can obtain great profits and that is if you are a trader because a great deal of the users in the forum prefer to hold and only buy more bitcoin when the price is low but they do not sell since they think the price can go higher than 20k.

That depends on how the market is flowing. Like if you have holded coins for more than a quarter of year and now prices got high, so time is to sell the coins. This must be constrained with information that in this quarter of year, prices must be higher than your profit ratios otherwise no need to sell bitcoins. This and few other technicalities of bitcoins, you have to deal with them according to their nature and time.

Nobody wants to sell for the lower price that can happen only in day trading but in the longer run, everybody wants profit so they will wait for the higher price and then they will sell that is the common strategy. Holding the coins gives you the more profit rather than selling instantly.

But do not worry too much about it, it can still achieve milestones it has made before, hold and wait for your next opportunity. Volatility is what drives this prices and when it rises it breaks all highs and creates a new high and when it falls it crashes badly. thus this is what had happened when it was at its peak. And coupled with some bad news around the world lead to the devastation in prices due to which it fell badly. but holding now is the better option as prices are getting back in track.

If you buy bitcoin now I think you must hold it and wait for the right price for you. Because when time came that bitcoin will became stable everyone who own bitcoin now are very happy. Just wait the right time and sell your bitcoin. The underlying circumstances actually matter a lot while choosing amongst any of these options. The thing is buying at the time when the market is little down is a good thing to do as it makes you an owner of bitcoins in less price. After buying of some bitcoins, you need to hold them for as long period of time as you can as this will eventually help you out in having greater profit. Sell only when you are satisfied with the money which you getting in return.

If I had BTC in December 2017 during the $19k price, I probably would have cashed out since $19k is the all time high for bitcoin price. Choosing to hold or not even cashing out a fraction of your investment during an all time high would be dumb. But to say it is too late for those who held during the $19k correction is incorrect, they can still earn from their investment not as much as what they would have earned during December of 2017 but they can still earn nonetheless.
