You can also trade your bitcoin or even ethereum if you want to make them grow because the market of the altcoins are now dump also and it is better to get into those coins and add them to your holdings and wait for a few months and then sell at the peaks of the market of that altcoin and just do it again if you want to make more, it is called trading.

BTC prices are little range bound at the movement and after some upside the prices slide down and this is what is happening again. After reaching 8500$ again it has started to fall a bit and currently it has reached 8100$. Hopefully it should not fall back under 8k now else again the panic will create in the market.

Yes, that is true mate. We can't definitely predict the time when the market will be growing up again. Even the changes of bitcoins' price will not be a good reason or bases of the predictions about it either. Only thing for sure I can tell is that, as long as there are many investors who still invested in bitcoin and the internet is always there, bitcoin can still recover and the price will rise again sooner or later.

As to this thread...I think the price will go 'sideways' at best at around 8-10k  with an ave (if lucky) of 9k per BTC

As to the real problem this year..is Mt. Gox Liquidation...the point of Liquidation is to Liquidate...thus ... I THINK

I read that for all practical purposes, enough BTC has been sold (thus the dumping below 12k IMHO now) to cover

the original Mt. Gox losses in USD $$$ ..at the time of bankruptcy back in the day...

However, I also read that there is still 1.5 billion USD in BTC to move .....so if you get paid in the liquidation in $$$

and the next main meeting is in Sept 2018...I would expect they will sell/move and wrap up the whole Mt. Gox bankruptcy

by the end of 2018.

Thus that means, the market will have to 'eat' 1.5 billion USD of BTC...so hell, we could dump below 2k BTC if they muck

this up too fast moving coin out into the world

thus, HODL is the only option...all this is out of our control....but bet on all this being resolved before 2018, IMHO

they seem to like to 'panic dump' on the lows..that would be a bad situation if they decided they want to wrap this all up by end of the year

which again, I see as likely, due to the fact the original amounts from back in the day can be refunded to people now from BTC sales

so, again I expect them to 'flush the works' and wrap this up by the end of 2018

hope I am wrong, and they give the option to GIVE BTC back and/or an auction format or something else more sensible....but

seems unlikely on how they have moved past BTC

indeed we may be happy to see 8k prices again in 2019 ...if they really 'screw this up'

Yes no one exactly know about the time that when the market is going to grow, but we just depend on the prediction of the expert people, who study about the market and give full time to trading, therefore for most of the time their prediction proves as correct, but still it is not for sure that what they say must happen. some time even their prediction proves as wrong, and they also face lost.
