Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

None, you need an ASIC to mine bitcoin.   You could mine ETH but you would likely destroy the laptop due to overheating before you made your first $10.

You could use it to mine monero, but once again, laptops are not meant to get that hot and mining is pushing your CPU to the extreme.

You're not that retarded, are you?  Buy a fucking laptop, but don't expect to be able to mine with it.  You'll have it sitting on your lap one night and all the sudden, it causes your balls to catch fire ... Lol.

SR Studio is obviously new to crypto-as we all were at some point-so no question is dumb some of the answers and comments are though. A laptop  SR Studio is far from ideal as some others have said the process puts a high load on it which will cause it to possibly fail prematurely. If your present set up for general use is ok and you want to try mining, do a little research into the rigs that fall within your budget, and try to find someone who is using it to get their views on how well and cost effective it is.

The question in itself isn't dumb.  Coming here and asking it is pretty retarded.  He could have figured out the answer on his own, but he doesn't know how to use a fucking search engine, I suppose.

Hey dude,

yes, you can mine BTC / ETH using Laptop, but you will get nothing because you need to beat a ton of ASIC miners and GPUs Rig.

and most laptops to be produced just for writing, reading, watching the movies and some games, not for mining.

because the mining process requires a device running 24/7 and then the device produces heat. while a laptop will not be able to remove the heat

generated from the process.even if your laptop is stored in Refrigerator or you are in the is on the continent of Arctic though.
