Lots of people are huge on Litecoin. I don't see it, with lightning coming in Bitcoin I see the demand for Litecoin decrease big time this year..

Of course obviously I can say Ethereum is the killer of all available coins and even bitcoin. In terms of valuation Ethereum has lot of potential than bitcoin or Litecoin. Because bitcoin or Litecoin are only used for medium of exchange where as Ethereum works as Decentralised computer for dappps in addition to medium of exchange.

In my opinion, you need to go to ETH as it has more future and the team that will do everything in order to oust the BTC

So as a back story, I am heavily invested into these two coins. Each one of them has their specific uses and I personally think that Etherium can do all the things that Litecoin can do, and then some. Litecoin's primary use is to transfer money from one place to another. You can do that with any cryptocurrency, and ETH offers that option as well, along with the same if not cheaper type of fees as LTC.
Now, they also offer smart contracts which will attract ICO's to use ETH. So with that being said, if you had to portion out 100% of your portfolio with either LTC or ETH, how would you populate it and why? I need some convincing on why I should stay invested in LTC.
I think that both litecoin and ethereum are very capable platform and both of these coins can really grow to tremendous heights for sure. Litecoin is known for its quick transactions at very cheap fees and you can easily expect it's price to be above 1500$ by end of this year for sure. Ethereum on the other hand is master of all smart contracts and has a very strong team developing it. You can easily expect it's price to be above 5000$ by end of this year for sure.

For me I would choose LTC instead of ETH. Although both ETH and LTC have very good potential but with small amount of money I think invest in LTC is better than ETH cause the price of these coin is so much different, the price of ETH is nearly 1k$ atm but the price of LTC is just more than 200$ so with small amount of money like me I think LTC is better option for me Smiley

I prefer Ethereum, because I think it have great value and potential and that it is a lot better and more valuable than Litecoin. However Litecoin is also rising and having good potential too, but it is still third or fourth in the altcoins world. Also the demand for Ethereum is really high nowadays , and bigger then LTC.

Actually my opinion is Etherium is better than Litecoin. Because eth price is $900+ now and ltc price is $200+ On the other hand eth is incensing superbly and it's a very promising coin too. So my opinion is eth is the best one.

There’s also been plenty of speculation around Korea’s plans to regulate crypto, although the government has since clarified it doesn’t plan an all-out ban on bitcoin and crypto trading.

In my opinion, I would say both of these altcoins are good to hold for long term investment purpose, Ethereum will always have a high demand in the market due to the smart contract technology and many ICOs projects are selling their ERC 20 Tokens in exchange for Ethereum, so I would say the future prospect for Ethereum are looking very good.

The ethereum. For one simple reason. It is more popular. Accordingly, a greater amount of investment is behind it, and there is development, progress. No wonder it is called the second bitcoin and compare them.

Today, at this very moment I would choose Litecoin just because of the small fees that it has compared with Ethereum. Try to buy 50$ of coins on Binance, you will end up paying 20% in fees...
