Hello there.

I am looking to start a bitcoin wallet. It would have an app(iOS/Android) and a web interface. I'm looking for a business partner. I can host the wallet in a very secure datacenter of my existing company. I'm a programmer, but not an amazing one, so we would need to hire somebody for most of the programming. Anybody interested?

Do you have anything to get started?  Do you have the money?

Or are you just going to let your partner do everything?

Apple won't let an iOS wallet app into the app store.  Others have all been removed.

There, I just saved you and your partner a bunch of work.

Psst!!  Wanna make bitcoin unstoppable? Why the Only Real Way to Buy Bitcoins Is on the Streets. Avoid banks and centralized exchanges.   Buy/Sell coins locally.  Meet other bitcoiners and develop your network.   Try localbitcoins.com or find or start a buttonwood / satoshi square in your area.  Pass it on!

Really? The coins wouldn't be stored on the iDevice, it would be on our servers. If that's still not allowed, I'll put it on Cydia.

Thank you, anyway.

I'm going to do my research after I find a partner, no point doing the research and then finding out you can't get a partner.

Maybe just go with phonegap. That would give you an android, web etc implementation. And when apple finally allows btc on the iphone, it's added in an instant, too...

You could also check out http://xamarin.com/ which does a similar type of thing to phonegap.
