Bitcoin bull run begins now?

I think it's still too early to talk about a bull run... The bitcoin is stabilizing today and it will make some more dump before really providing a solid base to get back on the rise.

Agree. A bull run may well be a bull trap, though I don't see anything that would count as a bull run at all in the first place. Right now we are in what should be called a minor reversal, and if we don't jump over $10,000, we may head southward. There are no good fundamentals for Bitcoin to rise now, but when it doesn't rise it falls, as simple as that. On the other hand, Litecoin seems to be getting a lot of attention these days with LitePay just around the corner.

I was kind of hoping Bitcoin would just stick around at the $8k mark for the rest of the month, after flailing around 6 and 7 for a while, but I suppose that's wishful thinking. I think now a lot of people would be wary of possible bull traps, although right now moving above 9k, I guess the smart's money on a retesting of 10k over this coming week. Like you said though, if the waves break over that barrier, then we'll likely be in for another reversal before Bitcoin can gather strength.

So far the January dump replayed itself, time to see if the coming Spring will be another season of renewal.

Nothing is so sure with crypto market, who knows if at the end of this year the price will be higher thatn $50k or less than. At the end of the day those prediction doesn't give much relevance because what dictates the prices are the demand from the people around the world.

It does not matter that it is going to $50k or not, as long as our portfolio is increasing then our investment sure is going to raise too no matter what. Everyone sure believe that bitcoin price is going to raise and I know that everything on bitcoin world is speculation but thr believer will make a change in the end, this is what I believe and yes bull is coming this year, will wair for the peak

After a bearish run, we should also expect a bullish run this year. Going for $50k this year is possible but i don't think that we may hit that soon, specially this year as more countries are talking about regulating cryptocurrency. I will be more than happy if it will break the all time high of $20k this year. That would be enough for me.

yeah after that lowest fall of bitcoin in 2017 it will now come to end and the new era for rising bitcoin price may be take its effect after considerimg that many investors now are eyeing for buying low price bitcoin. I think it's a very expensive price, everything that invests in biitcoin will make a fortune. I am very tempted to see bitcoin prices reach $ 50k, if I have a lot of money then I will buy bitcoin on this day.
I see the price of bitcoin is currently increasing, hopefully this is the beginning of the rise of bitcoin.

The bull run is starting to happen right now and the price of bitcoin is already more than $9,000 which is a good sign for the market of bitcoin that it is starting to reverse its position and it is trying to tell us that the bulls are now awakened and they are really pushing the market to go up again and i hope that this year, we will be having a new all time high.

Right. It will be just a matter of time before we see another all-time-high. Scary though what will be this time. 

The market is now making a good run breaking $9K barrier and I think if we continue and break $10K, I'm sure we can all breath a sigh of relief and declare that we are out of the woods yet.

There's one article that says that on a average the bearish trend is about 71 days, we are almost hitting it this February at more than 60 days already. So all analysis points to the bulls regaining control of the market and we may see it run again.

But what are the fundamentals for the bull run really? I'm not even talking about $50k this or next year but just about going to significantly over $10k? The last price surge was due to relentless hype but it looks like it was a one-off event anyway. I don't know what should happen that will make it start all over again.

Charlie Lee seems to be involved in LitePay operation if that could help crypto somehow. Lightning Network may take years until it goes full swing. What else?

Year 2018 is the most crucial year for crypto-market. Experts believe that BTC will reach $50k easily by the end of this month. But till now the crypto market is bearish right from the start of this month. Now Bearish days are gone now, Bitcoin has crossed its resistance level and stand firm above $8800-8900 from last 24 hours. So I think its time to buy more and HODL.

I agree with your opinion, Bitcoin rates in 2018 will only increase to $ 30000, or they will just rise to $ 25,000 due to the impact of so many harmful news releases as well as the ban on transactions by governments in South Korea and India. Thus Bitcoin's exchange rate will be stable and only increase to no more than $ 30,000 this year

Bullish experts, with a whole flock of bearish ones predicting a $5000 bottom in a few weeks. We shouldn't take any of these advices and predictions for the ultimate truth. These are just people who have either positive or negative attitude.
I'm bullish, so I'm holding my cryptos and buying more, but I can fully understand those that got scared and sold their coins.

As for the bull run, it's still too early to say if we'll break 9500 and go up like a rocket. One thing is certain, we've broken the right shoulder and went up. This is a bullish sign and many people who were waiting for it will go in at this point.

Well there is no proof in it. But base on forecast their would be a big pump that could happen to BTC but we can't tell how much price will rise. It's either greater than 50k or just 20k above.

I'm one of those that see bitcoin will make a run together with all the alts in the top 10. bitcoin is up, so automatically alt should be down. The market scene has change a lot ever since institutional investor enter the scene, we have seen this during the last massive bull run peaking at $19K, all altcoins went to the moon as well.

From the looks of it, we have been enjoying gains in the last couple of days and it looks like we finally broke the $9K barrier without to much selling at the side. I'm no expert, but I speculate that this could bring the bullish sentiments that we all have been waiting for. If at the end of the week we broke $10K then I guess the bulls are back and we might see the hype train ride again, everyone should be on board by now.

I believe it has got the potential to go above $50000 by this year. Maybe the price won't sustain above $50000 for a longer time period. Just think of gradual growth without interruptions. Surely in no time it could cross $50k, and now the bull run has begun and continues to grow high and reach peak point.

We can never tell. The one year increase of bitcoin from $800 in january 2017 and ended up at $19,000 in december was a huge increase. Although a correction was made and some panic sellers joined with manipulative news by the sharks brought us back to 10000 in january 2018, i beleive bitcoin will recover back to 19,000 and maybe reach an all time high of 20. For 50,000 that might happen but i cannot say if its this year. We'll never really know
